I would be genuinely shocked if they didn't use a dynamic level of detail system, where models too far away to see the details on are simplified until you either get up close or zoom in sufficiently All the benefits of full detail on faraway objects, with none of the usual cost.

I think the song's title is more alluding to the idea that, at the point in the story where the bosses in Violence were made, wars were fought using only machines. In other words, creatures that fought because they were programmed to, instead of the humans that wanted to. In other words, those battlefields were a War Without Reason.

(We don't really know how volitional these AI are in the first place but they give a strong "execute orders come Hell or high water and sod everything else" vibe.) And given the tin cans had long since displaced the organics from frontline duties there really wasn't much else gainful left for the latter to do but focus on the logistics and planning side of things anyway.

​@@neo1754 oooookay so i tried to roughly estimate Benjamin's size, i will first say how I got to that number so you or anyone else can maybe find flaws in my reasoning but if you don't care you can just scroll to the results at the bottom of the comment HERE WE GO. So I used very cancerous rodents as a measuring unit because they can be stacked pretty easily, I compared the size of X very cancerous rodents to the size of one of the 3 story building next to the mini boss fight with the security system. Results: a 3 story high building is pretty much 6,5 very cancerous rodents tall. An average 3 story building is around 9 meters tall. Knowing that, we just have to measurate benjamin's height in cancerous rodents and then translate it in meters with the following relation: Bm=(9*BVCR)/6,5 with Bm being Benji's size in meters, and BVCR being Benji's height in very cancerous rodents. The measurements showed that Benji's 322 VCR tall (from the grey-sand floor thing to the top of his "skull" not taking the antenna into account). Conclusion: Benjamin is (9*322)/6,5=445.8 meters tall or 1459,9 feet tall.
