So I got my home constructed in 2013, putting all my heart and efforts in the process, went to RK marbles kishangarh and purchased 5000 sqft @ avg of 120 Per square. Ft spent another 80 for logistics, filling ,polish and installation. At over 200 pr sqft .End result a flooring that doesn't look worth trash!! So be well informed even when you have the budget

Hardwood flooring is not recommended for wet n humid Indian climate since the moisture makes the wood warp or form molds which will destroy the wood in a short time. Wooden flooring is perfect for cold, dry climates. Ceramic and vitrified tiles do well in Indian homes.

@@sultansahib3304 Best option for you is Porcelain tiles. Go for the bigger sized one and one with marble look if you are so keen on marble look. Bigger size will have less joints and look better . Remember Porcelain and that too all through porcelain variety. This variety has the same material all the top to the bottom and in case of a chip it will not look bad or you will not notice it . They have long life and easy maintenance.

Very true. Johnson tiles are bad. I bought 1m×1m imported floor tiles and very expensive, they got stains and changed color. Worse, although there was guarantee against manufacturing defects, they never paid a single rupee in compensation. Lots of tiles had to be discarded because they were bent. It was a total waste of money for me. Johnson is bad.

For the problem you described earlier regarding uneven tiles and tiles cracking under walking the following could be the reasons 1) poor workmanship 2) improper sub floor or under floor . Many times in a new house tiles are laid on the filled up soil which sinks and shifts over a period of time . So make sure the sub floor area is hard and compacted very well. If a char ani slab can be done with cement do it before laying the tiles .

Main apni kitchen aur bathroom renovate karvana chahta hu ... kya aap ye services provide karte hain? Basically meri wohi traditional style ki simple kitchen hai, jisko mujhe modern modular type karwana hai like chimney, cabinets, etc etc.

Marble ek shaandar product hai. Agar marble laga sakti hai to best hai. Nahi to tiles lagwa lijiye.

Marble flooring needs extra care and maintenance. Mai ke bharose maintenance nahi chod sakte. Lemon juice, orange juice ,acid, harpic, have to be kept away from it . Cleaning also to be done with caution . No harsh chemicals. Marble will need sealing and polishing frequently to keep the shine and looks . Process of selection and estimate of quantity is a sensitive issue. If you have the time , efforts and money then yes you can go for marble .
