Or… …to put it another way… …Since Pete Rose is banned from the HOF, the Astros should forfeit the 2017 World Series. BTW, the Reds should forfeit the 1919 WS because of the gambling scandal. You can’t argue they won it fair and square - and those gamblers who bet on the Sox should have to pay off those chumps who bet on the Reds. …and Dickie Kerr should be in the HOF!!

@@ceciljustice7283 He's not even close to being compared with Gehrig. But I know, McGriff still deserves to be a Hall of Famer. Played through the steroid era and players like Bagwell and Pudge get elected, but he doesn't get much consideration. I don't get it.......

It's about two statistics on offense.... PERIOD. Diving in runs and scoring runs. Add those two numbers together over a 162 game season average over a career. Don Mattingly and Fred have identical 191 a years combine driving and scoring...... I don't care if it's walks, hits, hr, steals...... driving and scoring ! ! ! Defense?????
