I say Bron will beat Gunther after dropping the IC title. Somebody will go up to heaven's levels for beating Bron and then Bron, just like Gunther did, beats the Champ after dropping the IC title. Maybe even after a King of the Ring tournament again. Elevating who beats Bron, Bron will be elevated, the IC title, whose last two holders then went for the world title, the King of the Ring will be elevated and Gunther won't take any damage from that

For men's Rumble, I think Punk, Cena, Rock, Roman and Seth are probably the top 5 candidates. I expect Seth and Punk to have a match at mania but if they want it to be the main event of night 1 i think they're gonna need a title to justify it. Rock and Roman on other hand will be involved with Cody so they're arguable as well. Roman also hasnt won one in a long time. Now if they do intent on making Cena's return big, i can see him winning for a third time to tie Austin's record (will be just a start of him breaking a bunch of records next year) to fight Gunther at mania, a match that is begging to happen.

@@criminalmindsgirl2936 Royal rumble is a plot device to set up a potential Wrestlemania main event. It's not a chekhovs gun like money in the bank is. You don't use the rumble to make new stars. You see the stars you have that you can tell a great Wrestlemania worthy story with and have them win the rumble. Aside from Gunther(who will most probably be the champion till the rumble at least), I personally don't see anyone. I do agree tho that I hope it's someone who hasn't won before hence why I'm rooting for Punk

AEW can grow its audience by getting Tony off TV, Twitter, and speaking to the media. Install a proper authority figure/booker while Tony just reminds the owner and president. Also remove the EVPs, Jericho and Mercedes of any type of creative control.

The invasion angle was cursed from the jump because they didn’t want to wait for the available talent who were riding out their contracts. They could have had Shane as “WCW owner” just have his couple of feuds and vanish for a while then once those contracts were up and those talents came up you do the angle then with the available big names. But I’m also spitballing a take that has been taken time and time again over the last 23 years.

how about Bobby Lashley & MVP show up in AEW, then the hurt business reforms.. (probably have to change the name, knowing wwe) then Lio Rush also joins them. i would love if as a group they could win the tag titles, and defend them with Freebird rules.. but i'm sure some won't like that idea. or with 4+ members they could do that with the trios titles instead. for Gunther, i think he should hold that for more then 667 days, so he breaks his own personal record... so, at almost 2 years, it's really to far off to say who should beat him, but if i were to just pick a name, Bron Breaker maybe... who loses it to Sami Zayn. 😉

Rampage’s slot needs to be taken over my ROH…. Give them 10 to midnight and let it be gritty and dirty and (pun intended) raw. Make their product distinctly different than AEW’s. Bischoff said it best about competing with the WWE(F at the time), “you can be better than, worse than, or different than.” AEW needs to make ROH as different than any other wrestling product out there. It has its own lineage and history. If they lean into that, they could have something. If it’s just AEW’s C or D program, then it’s nothing.
