Bejun Mehta is more subtle and sounds more intimate - his voice has a very enticingly beautiful and comfortable sound. he also has an exotic expressiveness that brings the otherworldly into this most pleasurable listening experience. yes, the song and story are perfectly sublime, enchanting, and lovely! The only voice suitable for this role (Orfeus- a male) is Jakub's. Masculine countertenor and you have no doubt it is sung by a male... His voice is shiny metallic with lots of emotions. So Jakub Jozef Orlinski. I know female singers sing this role even more often than males... All of the singers are fantastic but out of them only Jakub has the real voice for it.
