Jakub Josef Orlinski has a wonderful voice..That wonderful sound is as magical as Dvorak's New World Symphony..one of my all-time favourites.. I want to hear every song that Jakub sings 🥰🥰😋😊😄

it is actually the art of the music with its words in song that give meaning to people. my own sense of such respecting the 2 singers here is that both would appeal greatly to young people seeking out meaning in their lives. both are sensitive and interesting w/ excellent musicians backing, making for a wonderful experience! these young singers speak to their peer's yearnings for comprehension of life's meaning (and its expression). the singers are very learned and excellently gifted and have been trained by the best. the intelligence and sincerity is earnest and real - and much appreciated! Jakub is very immediate (acute) in feeling, with what one might suggest is a certain spontaneity that is fresh and alive - it captures your interest nicely! the thing is to WANT to listen to someone and he has that in spades! Valer has the traditional voice that we recognize easily as being in the superlative & old-school (classical) English style. this comment is lengthy but there needs to be said how vital such music is to young people. it opens up an entire universe of energy and love.

(Again,) Sabadus. I didn't enjoy the song but wanted to hear Sabadus' version because of my recent wonderful surprise on this channel. I'm sure Sabadus' clavicembalo (harpsichord) accompaniement helped me consistently. Besides my obvious preference interpretationwise.

Valer's voice over all sounds a little more trained in this type of music than Jakub's. However, I enjoyed Jakub's interpretation of this piece better than Valer's. It felt more emotive. And I liked the slightly lower key Jakub sang in. Obviously these are just my/our subjective opinions. It really is not a competition.

Orlinski... he captures the listener... On the other hand, it is unfair to put on here Orlinski with the piano (most likely recorded at a live concert) and Sabadus with the hapsichord(a studio recording). Especially in this sort of music.

Prefer Orlinski. The interpretation. Subadus recording gives the voice a very hollow sound..the acoustic doesn't appeal to me.

Me gusta más la voz de Orlinski en general, es más dulce y emocional, pero la versión al piano no me convence, prefiero el clave para Purcell. Sabadus está bien, pero su voz me suele parecer excesivamente aguda y a veces punzante en las notas más agudas.

No criticism of BaB though both recordings seems to me to be sub-optimal, rendering both voices a distant quality. However, both of these contraltos are close to the top of their game. I’m sure Orlinski can only improve whereas Sabadus is probably there already.

There is no comparison, technically, volume, musicality, Valer is much better. Jakub kind of stopped evolving when fame came to his door.

Valer Sabadus'un performansı daha gösterişli olmuş, sanatçının ses çarpmaları ve iniş çıkışları çok başarılı, sesi bu parçayla beraber ışıl ışıl geliyor, ayrıca bu parçadaki enstrüman (klavsen sanırım) esere piyanodan daha çok yakışmış ama J.
