@6:32 Regine's voice was hoarse due to acid reflux. That was her very first attempt of Never Enough. There was actually a video clip during rehearsals that Regine really nailed the song. Sadly, during the concert itself, her acid reflux was there to mess her up but she still did it. That's how fearless she is! Even though her voice voice isn't in the most suitable condition, she won't dodge those high notes and would not even attempt to lip sync it. We appreciate your comments😊

Nicole was playing with her voice you should watch the whole performance since she hits the note in a chestier way and by the end before the big final belt she opted for a more balanced and healthier/headier sound I believe she wanted to display her skill by achieving the same note in two different ways.

I don't know why didn't include Jona Viray--she does one of my favorite versions. Now , obviously Loren Allred is the singer who originally did it and forever will be my favorite…but having listened to them all I think Morrissette was second best here. Carl loxley was refreshing too but since he went quite lower it was easier for him to sing me instead of may I think 🤔 I also think the reason I like Loren’s the best is because of her own tone that is so pleasant to the ears and with so much emotion. And again, for best version I would go for the one she did at David Foster’s where she nailed it and gave me the shivers all over. For me that is when a singer sings certain parts that suddenly gives you a tinteling cold feeling through your whole body and then I close my eyes. That is the moment when a singer really got me. Celine does this to me, Whitney did , Faith Hill and Loren Allred also did with her stunning rendition of this gorgeous song!
