Without a doubt we wouldn’t have beaten Arg. without Crowley. He scored a try, conversation and a penalty in the first half for us - we barely got anything when he came off if anything at all. Horgan is in loopy land thinking he didn’t perform well. All that said, he’ll be rested this week and I’d back Frawley to start for 55/60mins to regain confidence and see what he’s made of and Prent. to get a solid 20 or so under his belt for experience. The bigger issue is the aging squad -if we don’t see massive changes this week then questions need to be asked. Start building for 2027 NOW.

What does Horgan mean about Crowley’s performance? If anything I think he had quite a decent game? But maybe I’m misunderstanding what he’s saying

@@francisstreakybacon1012 totally agree with you. Horgan said the same thing last week, before the game he made it out to be make or break for Crowley. Tonight apparently a try drop goals decent conversions and overall a good 1st half isn't enough for him.

Crowley definitely had a good game overall, don't know what Horgan is on about and I'm a Leinster fan.

Crowley went to pieces when the game became close. Prendergast did well when the game was a live contest

Very short sighted of Irfu, one game given to Klyn would have tied him to Ireland…ffs…he is good enough for the South Africans but not Ireland, even as a back up ? Same with Anton Frisch, not tied to Ireland but good enough as a third choice for France…ffs….seen this before at Munster with Donncha O Callaghan let go too prematurely ….James Cronin released, good enough for Leicester but not Ireland…as a back up prop for Andrew Porter…I am sure other provinces will have experienced the same problem….

Frawley is utility cover at best, Prendergast has massive potential but Crowley is best 10 right now and should be getting as much time under his belt as possible. This BS Leinster lobby will be the ruin of Irish rugby success.

I think you have to start Frawley and have Prendergast on the bench next week to see what they're made of. Given that the ranking system affects the World Cup draw, we should be using these games against teams ranked significantly lower than us as a testbed given that we will neither gain nor lose points.

Hopefully we go with Frawley and Prendergast so they get exposed and we can just keep playing the best 10 that is Crowley from there on in.

Yeah that was strange, thought Crowley had a good game, and Prendergast also. Frawley also deserves another shot. We have three live choices at 10 which is good.
