Isn’t it? They go into great detail and it makes sense. Probably the best analysis I’ve come across in a long time. Be fun to see these two with 2centz and his mate.

As an Irish fan the penalty count is ridiculous over the past few games and the entire squad need to address it as we've been lucky to get the results the way we have, even if it 1 win and a loss. I hope that Ireland don't experiment playing style in the 6 nations but for the love of god blood some new talent so we have some time to strengthen them. Our team was exhausted come to the QF in the RWC and its because we didn't address getting minutes in players early enough. I know Ringrose, Porter and other of our stalwarts can play and last in international rugby what i want to know is if our replacements can. A 3rd place in the 6 nations if we give serious minutes and pressurised crucial minutes to younger untested players is a win in my eyes from Ireland.

This year Ireland needs to go for the Grand Slam with both England and France playing in Ireland, two Grand Slams and Six Nations in three years is a good record for this team going forward. There is always the European Tour and the Autumn Tests in 2025 to blood new talent..

On the Munster V Leinster revelry..... when the Leinster v Munster match (4th round of the URC) was held in Croke Park, there was over 80,000 fans in the Stadium.... that number should speak volumes where Irish Rugby is at. I really wish that could be the same for Connaught and Ulster as well..

I think that a draw would be the best result for both teams... my Pumas really show the Irish that we played as good as them, at that game.😊

As a Leinster man, Crowley is number !, Farrell is looking for dept and thats it, you boys are bang on, nice to hear it from a Squidge neutral perspective, Prendergast is a cocky f&&ker but so far, he wears it well. Just needs a few kilos more

I could see him wanting to play for Munster but it's whether the IRFU would allow it

Genuinely curious if the Pumas get treated more harshly in being penalised due to (historical) precedent of poor discipline. The Pumas have become a genuine world class outfit but I wonder if they are still perceived as a mongrel team (even in my mind sometimes). I could be wrong but it feels like they are less likely to receive the benefit of doubt.

I think it is great that Argentina's Pumas is playing with the All Blacks, the Springboks and the Wallabies every year, it has brought up the Southern Hemisphere. As for Ireland, we need to learn to kick for points.... it is soooooo Leinster to go for the corner and maul a try.... Drop Goals and Penalty kicks to the up-rights.... even if that is a bit Munster.

As an Ireland fan the penalty count and cards is what is really annoying. A good portion of them have been unforced and have just made it more difficult on ourselves. I honestly think if our discipline was better we beat Argentina more convincingly and I think the game against New Zealand was more winnable too.

Ireland a scuffed grounding from running away with match. Then switched off and bingo Argentina nearly caught them. Difficult to see how good Ireland really are at present. I predict a grandslam for Ireland in six nations if they can keep their frontline 15 on the pitch.

I saw somewhere that Ireland have debuted (and used) the least amount of players out of all the tier 1 teams this season. While they have a lot of old players in the squad. It's weird.
@LeMerchСағат бұрын
It’s not weird. They introduce players into the system slowly. The World Cup is years away. We don’t have to copy everyone else, we do our own thing and have our own style.

Depth will be our downfall long term... Haven't done nearly enough to blood young players, we have lots of brilliant players for the provinces especially back rowers like Cormac Izuchukwu, Tom Ahern, Cian Prendergast who haven't had any look in. But the main issue for me is our prop development, If our front row for next world cup is 33 year old finlay bealham and andrew porter we're fucked. Jack boyle on development squad looks to be fairly good and scott wilson for ulster. But other than that theres been very little development. When you look at the amount of depth south africa and france have, we just don't compare. Farrel needs to do better
@aonghus386012 минут бұрын
The IRFU are definitely making efforts to address the prop issue now. It might be too late for the next RWC but hopefully it will pay off in the long term

The inter-provincial rivalry has gotten way out of hand. Leinster definitely have an unfair advantage when it comes to resources, which causes other provinces (particularly Munster, the former most dominant rugby province) to get hyper-protective of their players who have managed to get on the Ireland squad. It's gotten to the point that perceptions of each other are so warped that Leinster fans can't suggest having/keeping one of *their* guys in a position occupied by another province's player without some "great-replacement-esque" conspiracy accusations being thrown at them, and fans of other provinces can't suggest having/keeping *their* guys in a certain postion without leinster fans calling them whiny babies who just want their equal oppurtunity cakes and handouts from the irfu. Frawley is a fantastic 10 (and nobody is actually suggesting he be replaced by prendergast), there is no bias in the media (the irish punditry have always gone after the 10 after a disappointing performance), there is no great conspiracy at the IRFU to sacrifice all other provinces at the altar of Leinster.

Irelands baby tighthead was awesome on his debut. Doris didn't manage the second half very well as captain. sexpot would have found a way to get over the line.

Still waiting for footage of that "knock on" or any remotely reasonable explanation for why abou 35.000 prior penalties by the Irish weren't given
@ArzhurG17 сағат бұрын
But there is footage. I just googled 'Ireland v Argentina knock on' and the first result was a 2 day old Planet Rugby article with an X video of it.
@BaneofBalor16 сағат бұрын
There's a good clip of it circulating if you want to look for it. Think it originated on X. It's easy to miss just on the camera alone but it was right in front of the referee. Basically, Oviedo reaches into the ruck, but there's quite a bit of movement as the Argentinians try to shift bodies to present the ball. The ball ends up popping out and hitting Oviedo's outstretched hand, resulting in the knock on.
@davidwalker240216 сағат бұрын
There is plenty of footage, Irish tv were completely bombarded with the ridiculous conspiracy theorists like yourself trying to get them to release footage , this had nothing to do them footage belongs to WR but too many clowns believing the referee was being paid that WR wanted Ireland to win, that the Irish were cheating “nuts” stuff but thats the world we live in . Yes Ireland won and deservedly so 3 tries to one that says it all, in the first two autumn internationals Ireland have conceded 2 tries , no one ever mentions that, they beat Argentina and are the only top 4 team that haven’t been beaten by Argentina this year , the only team to beat SA in SA , but it seems clowns are writing them off but they’re just clowns… last week Ireland were without two of their front row and 3 other players missing.

Let's blame the referee! You lost because you lacked points on the board not the ref
@eamonndawson53292 сағат бұрын
There has been footage and it was a knock on , but you know better than linesman ref and TMO who were all conspiring against you 🙄 come on your listening to Boks and sounding like Boks

I didn't care much for the ghost knock on but for the clear, evident, penalty made by the irish captain, crossing his leg in front of ARG half scrum in that ruck just under the irish posts ... The referee was just 2 meters away,whike the guy in green entered through the side in the ruck, then bothering the argentines with his leg over the ball, smiling ...come on man
@JD-qn5dv16 сағат бұрын
There were several instances like that by both teams, usually within the 22. The whole game the ref was choosing to tell that player to leave in an effort to avoid penalties. Try to be a bit less biased when you watch 😂
@josei.nazaranchorena214216 сағат бұрын
@@JD-qn5dv well, that irish penalty happened together with other 2, 3 previous and after penalties; I believe 've been 'less biased' by substratcting 66% to 75% of the irish infrigements in the same play ... still the irish penalties count in those last 2 minutes was huge

@@davidwalker2402 It's rare to see a better team throwing the ball to the grades finishing the first half, and then desperately defending against a 14 men team in the last 5 minutes, all this while playing locally ... Maybe Ireland won this one, but to claim that is a better team sounds too much.
@davidwalker240215 сағат бұрын
@ Ireland is a better team than Argentina thats a fact .

TMO needs to be limited in what it can do. Having some eye in the sky but in and override the ref and assistant ref is frustrating for people who want to watch rugby, not admin.
