I’m looking at DT in day 2 or day 3. I like what I saw from Darius Alexander at the senior bowl who’s more of a pass rusher up the middle and then JJ Pegues who’s an athletic big body who can run defend. This draft class is so deep in the interior of the defensive line.

I wouldn't consider trading up. If the player we're targeting is picked before our turn, I would prefer to trade back and acquire a mid-round first, along with two second-round picks and a third and fourth. Gaining two to three extra picks would definitely help us fill gaps, allowing us to potentially secure a starter or a depth rotational player who could make a significant impact.

The 49ers need 2 OT's 2 DT's, 1 DE, 1 OG, 1 S, 1 LB's, 1 WR, 1 RB and 1 TE/FB/WR They can get most of these players in the first four rounds if they trade down to pick up another 2nd round pick and trade Samuels for a 2nd and 4th round pick and do the same with McCafffery. Trading these two players would also free up a lot of cap space and help add quality depth without having to tap into the expensive free agent market. Why bother paying Brock top money if you're not going to invest in the offensive line? He was running for his life alot last season. Signing Dalman is a start but they've got to address Trent William's eventual replacement. He's not going to play forever. If I'm Purdy, I would be hesitant to sign an extension with a team who has stated they don't value using high draft picks on O Line, nor have they really sign a top free agent the last few years.

Hope they focus OL first like Banks or Campbell for Trent then in the 2nd rd the best Center, 3rd rd..RB Skattebo to eventually take FB spot, later rd another OT for Mckivitiz's spot or for depth. 25 y.o. RG Puni will improve.. 26 y.o. LG Ben Bartch w/6 yrs NFL exp. imo played solid for 2 games before injury.

We’ve made it offensive lineman in the first round for the last 15 years. The only one we got was McGlincy every other pic if I’m right was the defensive lineman the Niners need to plain and simple knock it off. I don’t care about how bad our D line was this season? Our old line has been bad for a long time. We only have two quality lineman. And one of them is about to retire.
