Little piece of trivia for you guys under the break (spoilers obvs)… Don't feel too bad for Pete. The $250,000 question he missed was later ruled to be flawed, and was invited back to go for the quarter million again! When he returned, he walked away with $125,000 in an unaired segment.

I assume it was because (spoilers)……… The MI theme ORIGINALLY peaked at #41… but in 1996, when the Tom Cruise movie was released, it hit #7 on the charts.

There were a few others. I read on the old forums that Ian Reifowitz actually came back to try for $500k again. Another contestant, Lori Bailey (whose run is on KZbin) was also invited back as well

@@aztec0996 we spent the money paying off debts, saving for retirement, and going on a babymoon to Italy. Before taping the show, my wife and I agreed that once I won $125K (which was life-changing money for us) I would never guess. So I have no regrets.

Eric is a prime example of how grueling that hot seat can be. He wanted to go Calvin but he valued $125k dearly. I don't blame him for walking especially after watching what went down just before his turn.

The last question makes perfect sense when you think about it. Ocelots are outdoor animals and air fresheners are used exclusively indoors. Where would an ocelot even come in contact with an air freshener? It's much more likely that a zoologist was wearing the cologne and was followed by a bunch of them in their exhibit.
