It’s the biggest Game Show in the world this is Who Wants To Be A Millionaire based on the UK show debuting on ITV on September 4th 1998 hosted by Chris Tarrant it became a instant hit it’s a show that revolutionised Game Shows with it’s dramatic music, dramatic lighting and lots of drama in Australia Channel Nine picked up the format sometime between late 1998 and early 1999 hosted by Eddie McGuire it premiered on Sunday April 18th 1999 and quickly became one of the most watched shows on TV getting huge ratings for Channel Nine originally it had 11 questions but it later changed to the traditional 15 questions in May 2000 there are 3 Lifelines in 50/50, Ask The Audience and Phone A Friend the more questions you get right the more money you will win it has crowned 2 Million Dollar winners on Monday October 17th 2005 as Rob "Coach" Fulton became the 1st person in Australia to win $1,000,000 on a Game Show in Australia and the 2nd Million Dollar Winner was on Monday November 14th 2005 as Martin Flood won $1,000,000 it would air it’s last episode of the original Primetime as host Eddie McGuire would be taking over as the CEO of the Nine Network airing 292 episodes, 623 contestants have made it to the Hot Seat, 6808 questions asked and has given away $28,595,000 the most watched episode was on Monday August 28th 2000 as 3.516.000 watched Dr Trevor Sauer winning $500,000 and it is the most watched Game Show Episode in Australian television history the 1st contestant on the 1st show in 1999 was Michael Medlock who won $16,000 and the last contestant was Tony Egan who won $32,000 it would return in 2007 for 5 episodes LIVE with a updated set, updated logo, new music and new graphics then in 2009 Millionaire Hot Seat debuted and it’s still going strong to this day this video looks at Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Promos from 1999 to 2006 Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is recorded in front of a LIVE studio audience at the legendary Studio 9 at the Channel Nine Studios in Melbourne this is Who Wants To Be A Millionaire enjoy the video.

​@lachlanpattersongameshows hey sorry to bother you but imagine this you've heard of the original British version of millionaire hosted by Chris tarrant imagine if eddie mcguire on the afl footy show in 2005 welcomed british millionaire host chris tarrant to panel for interview about each others version and millionaires success whilst footy players panellist dennis cometti and Collingwood player other chris tarrant listened and the two chris tarrants met each other and the reason dennis should go on the footy show for this is because he has same hair style like millionaires chris tarrant posh like millionaires chris tarrant and deep voice like millionaires chris tarrant
