Regis was what made this show so great. Always liked him. First saw him on Joey Bishop show.

Luck is a really underrated factor on game shows Not saying Bob isn't smart or that he didn't deserve to win, but like the old British host Chris Tarrant said, they're only easy if you know the answers.

Whenever I re-watch these older Millionaire episodes, I often find that the $1,000-32,000 questions are harder than the $64,000-$1,000,000 questions. I knew almost none of the middle questions, but the only higher one I didn't know was the Six Flags one. Weird.
@donovandownes50645 ай бұрын
One possibility is that the 1000-32000 questions were more known back then, for example the one about the Diet Pespi ads would be fresher in the memory of contestants back then compared to now. The 32000-1Mil questions might have been more obscure back in the day but now with the internet more people have heard about them. Just a possibility

This made up for what happened earlier because Tom O’Brien was in the hot seat answering $1 million question at the top of the shell and decided to walk away and had he had went for it he would’ve won $1 million I remember seven-year-old me being pissed
@LoyalmoonieProductions11 ай бұрын
If that happened and Bob won the million like that, there would've been back-to-back millionaires.

I had Bob as my teacher, he decided to show us this episode and revealed some things for us. 1 notice how fast his now EX wife snatches that check out of his hand. 2 he said that he hadn't needed the lifelines as the questions were basically all in his wheelhouse but the producer of the show asked him to use them to help build suspense
