Only physical appearance is not the criteria to judge people. Droupadi was very beautiful and also she was very well educated, cultured, decent lady. She had principles and cooperative with Pandavas in doing dharma. Around 100000 people saints and brahmins staying with Pandavas in Vanavas. Droupadi was caretaker of all of them. In the kurukshetra war, when Ashwathama killed all Upapandavas (Droupadi sons), Arjuna went to kill Ashwathama. But Droupadi told Arjuna to forgive Ashwathama as he is Guruputra. Also she told that as a mother she understands the feeling of Ashwathama's mother, therefore requested to forgive him. This was Droupadi 's great character.

Subhdara come to Indraprast because she was krishna sister else like ulpi n chitrangada she must be living with her parents.
