Great reaction to this 90s classic Elena 👍....Both Stallone & Snipes had a lot of fun making this movie 😁....and it's a little bit ironic that this movie, although a fictional action and sci-fi, some of the ideas & themes isn't too far fetched from becoming reality nowadays 😲.

Sylvester Stallone and Jackie Chan (whom you saw in the _Rush Hour_ movies) had even at this time been friends for quite a while and Jackie desperately wanted to work with him. Jackie was offered the role that ultimately went to Wesley Snipes but even though Jackie wanted to work with Sylvester he rejected that role because was not comfortable playing a villain nor was he convinced that his hardcore fans (particularly those in Asia) would have accepted him in such a role. However, he *did* get referenced in the final film by Sandra Bullock's character. They also had problems filming Wesley Snipes in the fight scene. Even back then he was such an accomplished martial artist that he was too fast for the cameras so he had to slow down his movements.

This is the European version of the movie. The American movie has "All restaurants are not Taco Bell" but there were no Taco Bells in Europe. Demolition Man did a good job of predicting a woke future.

It is one of my favorite futuristic films.🏆 I had the home video game, too. Simon Phoenix did say at the beginning of the film he would lose his head if it was not attached.😉 John Sparton replied that he'd keep that in mind. Wesley Snipes is very good at over the top characters. Here are a couple of his other very good films: "New Jack City" (1991) (Drug Drama) and "White Men Can't Jump" (1992) (Sports Comedy). Ok, first thing is first. Great pick for a reaction! Snipes played this role so well if I didn't know any better, I would have thought that was what was portrayed in this movie. To this day no one has been able to explain the three seashells. Slyvester just loved blowing thing up and didn't want to admit it to anyone. LOL, jokes aside Sly is one of all-time great action film stars. Now either I am going a little loopy or the version of the movie you reacted to change a few things which does happen. I remember the franchise chain that survived the franchise wars being Taco Bell not Pizza Hutt. Could I live in a world like this? Yes and no. All of the technological advancements that make it a safer and more comfortable life sure, but the lack of things would be an automatic no for me.

"Everything is now Pizza Hut"... It was Originally TACO BELL, but after the Release of the DVD there were some Legal Issues so they had to Dub the name over.

In the United States version it is still Taco Bell only in the European version is a Pizza Hut. I don't know about Europe but here in the United States Pizza Hut and Taco Bell or subsidiaries have the same company the parent company for Pizza Hut and Taco Bell is one in the same

Elena, I'm glad you got a chance to see this film. Dennis Leary, the leader in the underground, was quite a comedian back in the day and I loved listening to him go off on tangents just like he does in this film. I was also surprised to see that Taco Bell is no longer mentioned in this film and they changed it to Pizza Hut instead. I've never liked it when they change movies from the version we saw in theaters. It's one thing if they're going to add some previously cut scenes, but entirely another when they switch things out that all of us remember are there. George Lucas is infamous for it. Anyway, I'm glad you got to see this film and their bizarre take on the future. If you'd like to see another film that has that futuristic look to it, there's one called "Tomorrowland" starring George Clooney that you'd probably like. Take care and keep smiling!
