Four of the ten lost tribes are the Tigringa speaking people in Eritrea and northern Ethiopia (Tigrinja people). Eldad hadani talked about 4 tribes that settled in the land of gold? The 4 tribes he mentioned was Dan, Nafthali, Gad and Asher! Where is the land of gold? According to recent archaeological evidence, the land of gold/Punt is located in modern Eritrea and northern Ethiopia. What about the 4 tribes? The Tigringa speaking people in Eritrea and northern Ethiopia are divided in 4 tribes/groups! The name of the 4 tribes today is Hamasien, Serahye, Akele Guzay and Tigray. This 4 tribes/groups are Semitic in language and Origins, they have been in war whit their neighbours for many decades, just like Eldad hadani said the 4 tribes always was at war whit their neighbours the Ethiopians. 1. the language Tigrinja is a Semitic language that is very similar to Levantine languages like Assyrian, Aramaic, Hebrew, and others. 2. The Habesha peoples DNA are between 40% - 60% Middle Eastern (specifically from the Levant) the other half is Kushitic. this is because many ancient Hebrews mixed whit Kushitic women. (Moses, Joseph, Jacob). this means many of the tribes were a mix of Semitic and Kushitic from the very beginning. just like 6 of the tribes were mixed (Dan and Naphtali, Gad and Asher and Ephraim and Manasse) 3. The place "sambatsion" that Eldad hadani talked about is located in northern Ethiopia in the Tygray region where the Tigringa speaking people are living. The real name of this place is Ambatsion, and is located in northern Ethiopia in the Tygray region. 4. all the instruments King David made are instruments we use daily, and we have been using them for the last 2000 years. (Kirar, Wata, Begena, Kebero, Masenqo) 5. all our culture is similar Hebrew traditions, we celebrate all ancient celebrations from the old testament. we even claim to have the Tabot (Arc of the covenant). the hole Book of Enoch is only found in Geez writings ( the alphabet we right in). 6. All boys must be circumcised, this is a Jewish tradition and not a Christian one. 7. All our Churches in Eritrea are Build like a Synagogue and often have the star of David on them, they got the cross when Christianity was forced on the people. 8. paintings of the Israelites on walls in Egypt is similar to the Tigringa speaking people today. 9. feel free to check up all the points, and comment what you think of this! 10. Todah Dr Abramson i respect your work highly As a dark skinned Jew me and our community look into Eldad heavily, we concluded that he must have been talking about a Hebrew Kingdom in The Sahel region Eldad Ben Mahli was a danite and it’s interesting that his name “Mahli” is the same as the Mali Empire the land of Gold! (the rulers of who are from the Mende tribes, Soninke aka the Sarahulle ) . The rulers of the Za Dynasty of old Ghana (another hebrew word) aka Wagadu is said to come from the Yemen from the land of Himyar. Islam begun to take over this land in west-central africa around 1000ad Another interesting point is how Eldad states Dan Gad Naphtali and Asher are in that land beyond the rivers of Cush (Tzefanyah 3:10 speaks of this) the Igbo tribe say they have parts of these tribes among them and they claim they are majority Gad. This is fascinating and as time continues i believe it will prove that there is much More to Eldads story to be uncovered! Eritrea, Eritrea and Ethiopia was one country before. If jews like Eldad went to Eastern Africa, then the people claiming to descent from him would have some proof? Like DNA, Language, Culture, History...don't you agree? All am saying is that Tigrinya speakers have all of them, it is well known that the Abyssinians where located in Eritrea and Northern Ethiopia (Tigray region), and it is well known that for centuries they had a Jewish kingdom, it is well known that Tigrinya speakers DNA is a mix of ancient Levantine and ancient Kush, it is well known that the language is a semitic language, and the Culture is heavy influenced by Jewish traditions. I am only giving facts. Did you know that a university in America did a research on Tigrinya speakers DNA, what they found might shock u. They found out that the DNA of Tigrinya speakers have around 60% middle eastern dna, and around 40% African DNA, and the middle eastern dna came from the Levant around 3000 year's ago. Do you know what happened in the Levant 3000 years back? The first Temple was destroyed and almost 1 million Jews fled to Africa. The research also concluded that the dna stream from the Levant must have been heavy, to still be so strong represented in the DNA of the Tigrinya people. Unfortunately we are living in a time where people push false agendas for their own benefits instead of looking for the truth. Ethiopians in present-day Israel see Eldad haDani as a member of their community, and as far as I know, Kush is generally considered to be Ethiopia. It also seems more probable in light of the Yemenite Jewish history. They were also "lost" to the Jewish People before the Talmud, and developed a different liturgy and practices until Maimonides brought them back into mainstream Judaism. Yemen is just across the strait from Ethiopia, so this is not at all far-fetched. Considering the ignorance regarding Jews at that time, it seems unlikely that a total gentile would have been as knowledgeable and as Hebrew-fluent as Eldad.

Thanks again Dr. Abramson, your lectures prove to be real nourishment for the curious mind. On both the story of the Khazarian Jews and the Ten Lost Tribes I find two interesting elements, common to each of them. The verb "to vanish" or its synonymous forms are used to introduce both stories as a sort of wild card substituting the statement "we simply don't know what happened" which because of its open form, could not be easily used to refute or accept any conclusion. Who can in the world today assert with absolute accuracy that he or she is a direct descent of Ashkenazim Jews only? And from the assertion above, can then this person in absolute, deny any mixing with rightly converted Khazarian Jews, which even in the eye of today's orthodox Jewry, should be considered as real Jews? Why would a Mr. Joe Ashkenazi fiercely deny today a connection with a khazarian ancestor or a member of the tribe of Levi? Can he disprove it? We're talking all this events took place so long ago, that I can't imagine most families keeping ultra faithful genealogical records that would support a position. The same goes for the admittance of the possibility that some Jews today, as it normally happens with other populations, in their exiles, didn't simply vanish, but rather went on living either as regular Jews, converts, or mixed with other peoples while keeping their Jewish identity. This incomprehensible and outright denial to the possibility of anyone with Jewish ancestry of belonging to any of the two mentioned groups, simply because they vanished denotes a large ignorance of the rest of human history. And it should not make us feel bad that we are ignorant, but we should at least admit to it, stay open to other possibilities, not jump into unmovable conclusions and keep studying about the subject, the research still goes on. Why would descendants of 20th century German and Polish Jews, with German and Polish surnames feel more special about themselves? Remember these names were imposed on you. Your forefathers didn't get a chance to choose them. That too is part of your history. Before this name was stamped on your family, God only knows for sure where your lineage really comes from. I find it mind boggling that anyone living today may want to define himself or herself as the sole product of what occurred in the last 150 years alone. The sad, catastrophic and evil bit of history that Jewry had to go through in the 20th century, it's another fragment of Jewish history. Yes, the most recent one. I think we can all agree to that.

I think a mistake was made. Rabbi Akiva says the 10 tribes are not returning. Sanhedrin 110b MISHNA: The ten tribes are not destined to return to Eretz Yisrael, even during the messianic era, as it is stated: “And He cast them into another land, as it is this day” (Deuteronomy 29:27). Just as the day passes never to return, so too, the ten tribes go into exile and do not return; this is the statement of Rabbi Akiva. Rabbi Eliezer says: “As it is this day,” meaning just as the day darkens and then the sky brightens the next day, with regard to the ten tribes as well, although it is dark for them now, so it is destined to brighten for them.

Another wonderful lecture ~ thank you for sharing this story. I have a few comments and questions: Using my logical mind, I had always thought that the Assyrians had taken the 10 tribes to whatever countries they had conquered and the tribes may have ended up in the Caucasus region because of that. Is it possible that some of the 10 tribes ended up in Egypt and northern Africa? I am not really knowledgeable about all the areas the Assyrians conquered. I have also wondered what kept Jews, Christians, and Muslims from going into the far east. In the New Testament, Paul is specifically directed (and prevented) from going east. Could it have been physical barriers or the Mongols that stopped the major monotheistic religions from seeking out this territory? Or perhaps the vast cultural differences? Have any of the locations described by Eldad ha-Dani been identified or 'narrowed-down'? Again, thank you so very much for your lectures and scholarship! Time to buy plastic slipcovers :-)

Yes he does. He was short and very dark skinned. I googled images and it showed white people. You need to read the writings before the Renaissance of the Europeans because some European travelers really told the truth before global supremacy.

@@jayjohnson7708 Eritrea and Ethiopia was one country before. If all this points that I gave to you belonged to a white group/people, it would have been all over the news! Racism is real my friend.

i think his name is Simcha Jacobovici (sic) the naked archeologist Canadian Jewish mensch has an awesome documentary on the ten lost tribes and the millions of Israelite descendants across Asia. the ancient Cherokee religion which was purged of its Cohein centuries ago for corruption were Israelites from the Old World. They must have known coastal tribes (asherites I think) that were very close with Phoenician who had been supplying the Old World with New World tin and copper for the bronze age for many centuries. Or even further back they might have been Egyptian Nile Delta Israelites who were close with the Minoans also living in Nile delta, Crete, Cyprus etc. until their civilization collapsed about 1500bc but had flourished as an advanced artistic gender equal culture of international influence comparable only to ancient Egypt (from 3000 BC - 1600 BC)- this shattering of the Minoan Naval Empire by Aryan invasions already weakened by natural disaster such as by the Mediterranean volcano that triggered the ten plagues of the Early Date Exodus of the Hyksos Israelite Shepherd Kings a few hundred years before Moses melded his Late Date and the Early exoduses together. Like a peshar referencing a past events intrinsic connection to the present. And I understand my Ashkenazi heritage goes back to Anatolia (preTurkic mostly Christian Turkey (before about 1200) before it goes back to Ukraine. Four settlements in Turkey in the first millennium names are basically Iskenaz (sic) and similar names and that the unitarian Druze of modern Lebanon and Israel come from this same stock or something along these lines. Also before my Diasporite ancestors left Rome-- we were once a banking class, and Italkim were one of the largest or largest Jewish center in the Late Roman world. From what I understandings a lot spoke Yervanic ( which survived until holocaust in Greece) or Judeo Greek and Judeo Latin. As they spread out into Francia as divided up for Charlemagne's sons, the area where France and Germany met was called Lo'ez by the Jews after Lothair son of Charlemagne. All these Judeo French (I think) hybrid languages emerged called western, eastern etc. Lo'ez. These Lo'ez dialects lost prominence as the Jews moved east to Germany but influenced the creation of Yiddish. Also Separdim were influenced by Judaic Berbers ( along with Guanche and Basques are possible Atlantean descendent with higher rh- blood supposedly) converts they intermarried with. Just like Ashkenazi male merchants often did with European wives. As long as they were earnest converts from what I understand Halakhically legal and the child is Israelite. This genetic tincturing is part of tikkun olam I believe and creates alchemical strengths of mind and body. Of course technically if the spouses didn't convert by Halakha the children might not be considered to have a perfect Israelite pedigree but its still part of their heritage and identity and in their blood. And in Judaism where the blood flows the soul flows. So if Jewish blood flows so does Jewish soul flow I would say. And to everyone who questions an Jews Jewishness,-- how dare you! Without evidence that intermarriages to gentiles who did not convert are in a persons genealogical background, your really just speculating. And even if no evidence of a conversion took place in the past that doesn't mean a conversion couldn't have taken place between a husband and wife as an intimate spiritual private affair. A rabbi stamp does not create a conversion; it only potential confirmed it. Like a marriage existing without paperwork or public celebration.

So I'm not interested in your false doctrine. Revelation 2:9 defines your people. Hebrews and Egyptians were black. Reason why the Hebrews always ran to Egypt to hide. Guess the President of Egypt back in the early 50's lied when he said in TIME MAGAZINE that there will never be peace in Palestine because the Jews left black and came back white. Oh and not to mention DNA PROOF. E1B1A. Or the Kingdom is JUDAH in the middle of the slave coast of Benin Africa. the true Jews are waking up.

Brandon Ford there are countless books that “prove” the earth is flat. We don’t rely on books written by mentally unstable people, books without good usage of primary sources, amongst many other things That absurd book proves absolutely nothing, except to people with the IQ of a fake house plant. The curses in Deuteronomy are supposed to prove what, that you have no critical reading skills? Slave ships refer to...??? I know this is hard for you to believe, especially since you’re hell bent on stealing others’ history, and you’ve never read a real book in your life, but black people were not the only ones to be enslaved. Shocker! False doctrine where? Revelations is not in the Bible, I’m happy you’ve found the Christian faith, but the New Testament is not in the Jewish Bible, so I don’t care what it says about religious issues. Hebrews and Egyptians were not black, get lost with that pseudoscience nonsense. Hey genius, I know good news greatly saddens Jew haters like you, but there’s already peace in Palestine. Israel is not just surviving, its THRIVING. Great technologies are being created everyday, Jews are the happiest people in the Middle East, and the entire Middle East outside of the Gulf States, and Israel is in shambles. Jews are having babies, celebrating Bar Mitzvahs and studying in great yeshivas all over the land of Israel. Israel is so successful they’re exporting farming, irrigation, water, computer technology all over the world. The President of Egypt in the 50’s can say whatever he wants, if I had to guess, he was probably still butthurt over his mighty warriors getting utterly destroyed by a bunch of Kibbutzniks, I don’t think he was too happy when some random teenagers liberated Jerusalem. DNA proof E1B1A, congratulations you’ve copy and pasted successfully from your idiotic website. The Kingdom is Judah spread all over the world, half of them have returned to the land of their ancestors and they’re having a ball. Have you seen Tel-Aviv? Absolutely gorgeous, looks like Miami Beach or something. The true Jews are waking up to what? Half of Benin is trying to escape to Libya so they can get to France/Italy/Spain. Are we supposed to be afraid or something? Wait , you’re actually serious about this Benin thing right, OMG I’m sure the IDF commander is shaking in his boots. You and your silly cohorts will accomplish absolutely nothing, and you’re not scaring anybody. I have to admit you guys are pretty hilarious.

Its preposterous to say ''How could they?'' Just saying. I object to off the cuff denial of a story. Ive seen things i have no inkling of reference good enough in description too. Lets not forget the history of Irish ancestry Re; the Tuath De Danan & the swimming Dani, the Scots (Izcotti), then theres the Cymerian Davyds of Wales . The Ixini (essenes) of Angel land. Or what of the claims of the Saxons (Izaaxons) even. The proofs are in the record. Armenia and so called Pictish have their art in stone held in common. The Christian Bible couldnt have been without drue to the vid; Albian scholars, if they hadnt taken them to remote Atlantian rocks eating gulls. If they hadnt kept them.?
