I mean we can't fully call it romantic either. As far as we know Blitz had for sure one sided feelings for Fizz. Fizz said he looked up to Blitz and he was his best friend. His look after making out offer also said he doesn't see Blitz in romantic way. It's possible that he saw Blitz like best friend/older brother and looked up to him most likely bc no matter how much Blitz was failing at his shows, he was never giving up (I mean until accident) and it most likely gave Fizz more confidence to not give up on his talent especially since he was good at it.

i think blitz can't let himself be happy, either consciously or subconsciously because of what happened, blaming himself over what happened, so he sabotages his relationships and focuses on little things to reject any form of happiness. With stolas he's in deep denial, because grasping the obvious would mean accepting stolas makes him happy

For some context this version of hell is based off of Dante’s inferno with the different rings. Lust is the first ring and closest to purgatory and the human world so it’s not surprising that Ozzie both has access to the human world and has comparatively less power than the other sins

10:12 getting the crystal is actually very important for Stolas and Blitz’s relationship! Right now, Blitz and Stolas are in a business relationship (Blitz has sex with Stolas in exchange for the use of the grimoire to go to the human world). Stolas getting that crystal and giving it to Blitz means he is omitting the need for himself in Blitz’s life, meaning they can form a true relationship based on WANT rather than NEED. He’s setting Blitz FREE! 20:40 that fire was the catalyst to Blitz’s downward spiral. What could’ve been the day he confessed to Fizz and was happy turned into the worst day of his life because of one shove and a huge misunderstanding. He lost his best friend and mother, and judging by how everyone treated him, they solely blamed him for the fire. This would end up causing Barbie (his sister) to become an addict, hence her being in rehab. This made Fizz disabled, losing his legs, arms, and horns. The guilt of causing his mother’s death, his sister’s addiction, and his best friend’s scars cemented a deep self-hatred of himself in Blitz. 21:45 it was widely known that Blitz’s father hated him, but adored Fizz. Fizz’s birthday card even said “I wish you were my son”. I wouldn’t be surprised if he paid off the hospital and circus staff to keep Blitz and Fizz apart, causing the rift that grew over fifteen years.
