Saying animals have no souls, I completely disagree. They display all the traits of having a mind, will, and emotions. Their souls are different from ours but they're souls nonetheless. They have the breath of Life in them. That's what makes them a living soul. Try telling a person who just lost their their pet that their animal has no soul and they'll never see them again because they got burned up in the old earth like garbage. Great teaching on Methuselah in the mourning process though 👍

For what happens to the children of man and what happens to the beasts is the same; as one dies, so dies the other. They all have the same breath, and man has no advantage over the beasts, for all is vanity. Who knows whether the spirit of man goes upward and the spirit of the beast goes down into the earth? Ecclesiastes 3:19‭, ‬21 ESV Thought this to help. Question - is an animal saintient. I dont think so. All that has breath, has received it from the Lord, yet I believe only humans have a soul. An animal does not plan for tomorrow, they are reactive in their makeup

I love my sweet babies like family. However, I don't believe they have a soul. Yes they love us and yes they can be trained, however, they don't have the concousness of man. They don't dream of their future. They don't make plans. I will always hope that God would bless us with our little fluffies.

I love your teachings....I do have a question that I'm curious about .......if season's didn't start until after the flood then why in genesis ch1 vr14 it says the sun and moon were for day and night and for signs,(SEASONS) and for days and years? 29:12 ....you say 'they' means animals... yes, but not specifically, because it goes on to say all flesh ... note that Noah had his female and so did his 3 sons .... actually, I feel it was the only way to get on board, in accordance with God's command that all who go in must be in pairs .... If we study these enoch was raptured and his son metuselah died before the flood . Actually metuselah nsme has a meaning like the one that was sent and when he died judgement will come . He died b4 the flood. Same in the last days that there will be a believers rapture b4 the great tribulation and wrath of God.but during those times many will still be saved.

The number of animals could be less, The word translated as species should be" kind." The genetic makeup of the animals was more diverse at that time so a cat kind of animal could rapidly diversify into the species we see today.

Elohim is a plural word for God the (im) denotes a plural of 3. Jehovah was a manufactured name by a Catholic priest in the 14th century. He took the tetragramaton YHWH which was God's name in Hebrew with the vowels a and e. He changed the letter Yod to a J and used the vowels in Adonai and Elohim to concock a new name for God that he called Jehovah. There is no letter J in Hebrew. Jesus was known as Yeshua and the name of His Father as Yahweh. I personally cringe when I hear people use the divine name as Jehovah instead of Yahweh because of the despicable cult the Jehovah's Witnesses. And by the way animals do have souls that are not the same as humans but they do have souls. I love Pastor Nolan's sermons but I wish he would get these two subjects right.

This man is making assumptions about the animals not having a soul or going to heaven. The Bible is not clear enough on the subject for him to say yes or no. He needs to get off his high horse and loosen up. God loves his animals and it is not their fault for the fall but mans and mans only. God Bless
