Her two sons Habib and Abdullah were also important. Both had also been at the pledge of Aqaba as children. The Prophet (saw) chose Habib ibn Zaid to deliver a message to Musaylamah. He ended up being tortured to death but did not waver in denying the Prophethood of Muhammad (saw). She vowed to avenge his sacrifice and witnessed it when he was avenged by his brother Abdullah ibn Zaid along with Wahshi who both killed Musaylamah in the Battle of Yamamah that Nusaybah (ra) participated in.

By the way, Jihad is فرض كفاية Fardّ kifaya. It's the wisdom of Rasul Allah.
