I made it all the way to the end without finding out what his name was, but the information was so fascinating, I hardly noticed the time pass. Really looking forward to part two.

Thanks for the comment! Yes, this is a multi-part series, and the info in Part 1 is necessary to come to the right conclusion. Part 2 will give the complete picture. There is a lot to this and I'm sure people would not have wanted a video that was an hour and a half so I wanted to split it up into more digestible segments. Hope you enjoy the next videos!

Perhaps they used brick for stone because the antediluvian ancient technology was lost after the flood and they could cut, move and set the megaliths.
@LetUsReasonChannel
@LetUsReasonChannel 3 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for the comment! Technically the reason is that stone does not exist in that region, and so even if they had the ability to cut and move megalithic stones, you can only use what is available, and the scholars I've read say it was not available in that region. But I like how you think! I am amazed by the megalithic construction of so many of the monuments around the world, and I am certainly starting to think the most incredible of them were antediluvian. Incredible subject! I will be putting out some videos addressing that type of content in the future, there's just so many great subjects to tackle that we never hear about in church!

When people gather together they work on subduing each other rather than subduing the earth. Pretty simple. Nimrod wanted power over people, like God. His followers knew this and were complicit in this revolt. That's what i got anyway.

"ashshur" (Hebrew) in Gen. 10:11 1st of all shouldn't have the 1st letter of "ashur" capitalized as if it were referring to a name which it is not. The word "ashur" here means "SUCCESSFUL" in hebrew. Gen. 10:11 - Out of that (or this) land went forth 'successful(ly) and builded Nineveh...

How do you get 3200 BC for Nimrod's kingdom? The earlist artiacts from Sumer date to around 2900 BCE. Scholarship that makes Nineveh older than that is super sus and likley funded by people trying to close the gap between the Tepe sites and Sumer.
@LetUsReasonChannel
@LetUsReasonChannel 18 күн бұрын
Not correct. The fourth millennium BC is known as the Uruk Period in history and archaeology. I got 3200 BC by using the Septuagint timeline (as was clearly explained in the video), which just so happens to align exactly with what historians tell us about that time period. This is all explained in the video. Thanks for leaving 2938480804 comments on my channel tonite, every single one being negative and questioning things I clearly explained in the video.

Hi, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, the Jasher we have today is not reliable. It is based on later rabbinic traditions that are founded upon the incorrect Masoretic chronology. For instance, it has Nimrod being killed by Esau, meaning they were alive at the same time.

The koran has a better and more comprehensive information about this guy, in relation to verses about our prophet abraham
@LetUsReasonChannel

The Koran was written in the 600's AD. The book of Genesis predates it by around 2,000 years, and seems to derive from oral traditions that far predate that even. What makes you think the Koran has "better" information? Don't you think that generally, the far older source is more accurate to the original story?
