Think of it as pre-history but told in symbolic language. They describe the character of things remember, that truly happened, but perhaps not conveyed in terms a scientist would understand.

As for his bed being only nine cubits, the commentaries explain, that the cubits were cubits measured by Og’s feet. Therefore there’s not a contradiction between his bed being only 9 cubits, and Moshe only being able to hit his ankle.

Depends on the commentary. I am aware that Rashi and others say it was a cubit according to Og's own size. However, there are also those (like Ibn Ezra and Chizkuni, for instance) who affirm that it was a standard human cubit. The simple understanding of the Torah is clearly that it was a standard cubit, since the verse (Devarim 3:11) directly states that it was a cubit "b'amat ish", according to a regular man, not a giant.

The script is called "Ashuri" but it has nothing to do with the Assyrians (the people or empire), they used a completely different script (Akkadian I think). Ashuri if I'm not mistaken comes from "beauty" or something.

Some Orthodox Christians suggest the fallen angels met again with men after the flood, and thus produced new giants, and Og was from this new line.

Eliyahu because of his complaints against Klal Yisrael, during the time immediately after slaying the Priests of Baal and Ashtarot, when he tried to return the Torah to Heaven by returning to Horev, lost the privilege of heralding Mashiach ben Yosef, an equally heretical time at the end of days to his own time. This is such the case that this last pre-Messianic leader described meticulously in Zekharia 12 will spend most of his Premiership behaving with the rebelliousness of Achav ben Omri, and only at the end will repent as Yoshiyahu the great teshuvah king of Yehudah. When he is assassinated, in Zekh 12:10, he will be given a eulogy to reflect both his life when he was like Achav and his life when he was like Yoshiyahu. His yichus as a Levite from the House of Natan, well that PM is Binyamin Netanyahu! This is why Eliyahu lost that privilege. The 5 Vavs correspond to the five MBYs who would come (4 of whom have already perished through violent deaths because they did not succeed in their mission). The last question is soooooo ridiculous. I dont understand why u even engaged it. The earth is a huge rock. Cover its surface with h20 and it will still be the exact same huge rock. Crust mantle it doesnt matter. 1 year of surface water and then a return of the groundwater isnt going to do anything.

There is a lot more than solid rock. There is a molten iron core too. Earth's Geology is much more complicated. The iron core allows for the earth's magnetic field. No Iron- no magnetic field.
