I could be completely wrong about this but I really like how you can seemingly assume certain things about Judiasm and certain aspects about it based on actual logic. Like with the alphabet thing. It doesn't say that it was the first thing God created but we can assume that it was based on the fact that he spoke. It is something that really intrigues someone like me with a very logical thinking mind

I am learning so much from you. I am Christian (for lack of a better word) who has come to learn that Jesus DID NOT do away with the Torah as we are taught. Nor did he tell us to pray to him but to the Father. He also clearly stated (not a parable) that MANY would come in His nam and say He was the Messiah and would mis lead many. And the is exactly what has happened. I do believe he was the messiah. But Messiah Ben Joseph (the first time) and will return as Messiah Ben David. (the second time) but in the mean time, I am learning to study the Torah and see how clearly our world is devolving because of lawlessness. It is the whole point of the Torah (how society should live), and we are especially robbed by not keeping the Feast because they are so prophetic yet Also historic. They are past and future. And we are the poorer for not understanding them and keeping them. You can call me Torah pursuant or Hebrew Roots whatever. It has many labels. And it is criticized harshly. But for me...The Jews have the Torah and not the Messiah (Yeshua) and the Christians have the Messiah but not the Torah. And we both lose out. The Apostle Rabbi Paul was grossly misunderstood. Thus his teachings are grossly distorted. Plus the church basically worships him as you said. Because when confronted with the words of Jesus, they aways respond with "But Pauls says..." Not sure when we became the church of Paul. Anyway thank you for all this information for even me a seeking the truth Christian who wants to return to God with all my heart the way HE wants it. Not the way I want to

Technically, one accurate way to translate the beginning of the Gospel of John (from the Christian Testament) is as follows: "in the beginning, there was the oral Torah. And the oral Torah was with God, and the oral Torah was God." It's interesting that the oral Torah we have now is essentially the opposite of the written Torah in every way. It's also interesting to note that we can prove the (written) Torah hasn't been changed. Finally, it's interesting that John would specify that "in the beginning, the Torah was with God" but doesn't specify which (oral or written), which implies that at least when the written Torah was created, they both said the same thing (not opposite things).

They correspond to the epochs of the Hebrew calendar. The calendar itself merely alludes to the creation and the world. Torah's not asserting that the world was created within six calendar days. It's allegory.

I think that we having the timing incorrect based on not including the "watch" that is attached to the 1000 years which makes our perception of the 3 2000 year breaks in the 6000 years time line. A watch consists of 4 hours which equates to 1460 hours in a year. Multiply that by a 1000, that being one day to Hashem gives us 1,460,000 more hours that need to be added to the 1000 years that make up a day for Hashem. Dividing the 1,460,000 hours by 1000 gives us a total of 1460 of our days making up one day of HaShem

There is a good summary of opinions on the length of a parsa here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biblical_and_Talmudic_units_of_measurement and here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parasang Some historical sources say it is as much as 18,000 cubits. Halakhic sources vary as well, tending to go with about 5 kilometres. I like to go with the standard of a 72 minute walk, which should be at least 6 kilometres. Eratosthenes did indeed calculate it first.

On the 1,000 year Shabbat it will be like Israel in the wilderness who did not use the bathroom and who live by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God as I understand it. Nothing wears out. Is 49:10 They will not hunger or thirst, nor will scorching heat or sun beat down on them. For He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water. IF you are worried about what to eat at this time - then he provides enough for the whole day on the sixth. But if you enter by faith, he gives you the bread for tomorrow (Messiah) And so nations will also survive. There will be those who do not have physical needs and those who will.

I love everything, excellent lecture. My only note for now is that you said regarding messianic movements that “they are all doomed to fail”. I think it’s pretty inaccurate and disrespectful to include the Rebbe in the same category as Christianity, Islam, and Shabtai Tzvi. I completely understand the point you are trying to make and I don’t even necessarily disagree that many chabad followers are in a cult of personality and deify the rebbe… but you have to admit that chabad as a philosophy and movement is categorically not comparable to the other 3 movements you mentioned. Chabad is based on true Torah values and although many followers of chabad are missing the point - the chidushim and Torah of the rebbe seems like a huge part of the prosperity of the future. to say it’s doomed to fail just like the false messianic cults of Shabtai Tzvi and Jesus is absurd.

It could well mean a temporary glacial period. Also, there are cycles in cycles in cycles... There's a reason the ancient and withered region is referred to as the cradle... And it has grown up tp become the fathers body, eventually it will become the sitting place and whoever owns the sitting place will own the entirety of the world....

Jesus saved my life 5 years ago….Woke up to a vision of earth suspended in darkness and it was all blurry. Then a lightning bolt struck it. Next these words entered in my head. Push it out. Realign. Find my glory. Go gather my flock. The gentiles are the fish and the birds!!!

Hinduism goes back to the days of Abraham and that corresponds to the Abraham giving gifts to his sons and sending them to the East.

Chabad is not a messianic movement, it is chassidut. The fact that some chabadniks think the Rebbe is Moshiach has nothing to do with Chabad itself. Its absolutely shameful to lump Chabad in with Christianity and Islam and to insinuate that it is successful do to the messianic aspect. That is nonsense-Chabad is successful because the Rebbe was incredibly brilliant and innovative. He spearheaded the greatest Kiruv movement in history, sent shluchim throughout the entire world to bring Yidishkeit to Jews everywhere. The impact Chabad has had on the modern Jewish world is beyond measure.

No one is disputing the amazing impact of Chabad, and I described it myself. The question is what motivated the Rebbe to do what he did? His vision was entirely messianic, and no one who knew the Rebbe or knows Chabad would deny that. Please see my essay on 'Understanding Chabad' here: www.mayimachronim.com/understanding-chabad-and-770/

Why would God create evil or create the option to do wrong so that there could be punishment and pain? If he loves us so much why would he make it to where we have this flaw or option of not doing what he wants us to do knowing if there is 2 options, 1 to do right (do what he wants) 2 to do wrong ( To do the opposite) . When there's an inevitability that eventually one will choose the other option, knowing when one does choose this they will inevitably be punished? Is there a reason for this or is it that he had no choice but in order to love he had to have something for him to hate (dislike) . Meaning because whenever he created something he had no choice but to create the opposite of whatever he had brought into existence?

Please don’t use the metric system for this. The imperial system is sacred and directly related to the measurements of earth, space, and time. Much is lost when the measurements are given in the metric system. It absolutely matters, especially here.

The symbol of the apple might represent substitution of the channeling of Gods will downwards into the material by the channeling of our material senses and reasonings upwards into the spiritual… hence the requirement for Adam to be banished from the higher dimensions to avoid contamination.

This is a "good message," but can you please explain to me "why" Hashem asked Abraham to begin the mitavah of "circumcision?" I don't understand why baby boys are born with this foreskin, and then have to have it removed? Doesn't this "go against nature?" Why does Hashem create a baby boy with this if He doesn't want it there in the first place? It doesn't make sense to me. Please advise. Thank you.

Why not both? Maybe you can tend a garden on another planet with even more beautiful and unique species, while a machine takes care of all the unpleasant things you'd rather avoid (like cleaning toilets).

Rabbi… is it also a possibility… when HaShem said that they would die in the day they ate… could it be Abel/their children?? They saw ‘themselves’ in their children… and now begin to experience death just as HaShem said… on the day they ate… I learned that for Eve to get pregnant and give birth was all in almost a moments time… no waiting 9 months…. My thought was this… wondering if when they sinned and left the garden… and she conceived and gave birth to Cain and Abel… could it have taken place all on the same day??? Referring ALSO to the beginning of the deaths of their children, not only Adam within the next 930 years/Day 1

My feeling is that when we realize the full dimensionality of our existence there will be no infinities… all the grand unified theories including String/M theory require renormalisation to remove singularities and infinites before they can work… the infinities we can perceive look suspiciously like the event horizons of black holes but from the inside not the outside… infinities are incongruous with my understanding of Yeshua
