Pecos Bill was my commanding officer during World War 2. He was a brilliant tactician and the best shot in the company. I saw him lasso a Panzer Tiger and ride it like a bull. We gave Old Adolf a huge headache

I already love this series! Maybe you could do a video in the future covering some Scandinavian folklore? I think it's really interesting because it differs so much depending on what country the story is told in.

An example: trolls! If I remember correctly, Finnish trolls were said to be gigantic, stonelike creatures who would eat children. Kinda like the ones you see in Lord Of The Rings. But in Denmark they were only a bit taller than a full grown man. They weren't that different from a normal human, except that they had a cows tail. They would help farmers with work, if the farmers laid gold out on their field.

A really creepy one is the Valravn. (Val as in Valhalla, and ravn meaning raven) Valravns were ravens that had eaten from the dead human bodies on the battlefield and thereby gained human intelligence and magical powers. But they could only fly doing the night, and to break this curse they had to eat the heart of a child. If they did that, they would gain the power to turn into a knight or a half raven/half wolf beast that could move around doing the day. It's one of the lesser known myths but I think it fits the tone of this channel!
