"I hope this guy gets a TV series." The way, he could be seen on the screen without him selling Whig propaganda, would be him founding a *production company* and _licensing_ his episodes for e.g for BBC Scotland. But why would _anyone_ still own a television set, believe in social mobility via celebrity or in an educational role of mass media - aside from advertisement - in the 21st century is beyond me.

This guy is great.I identify as French Metis in Canada but the Metis line intermarried with Scottish lines starting in WW1. That means I grew up unilingually English and culturally Scottish but I like the fact that this man has redefined the concept of being Scottish to transcend the racial nonsense that besets so many! I love both my heritages and I also loved the fact that recent DNA testing revealed I have a Sindhi in my Scottish lines from a liason between an Indian fellow resident in England in the late 1700s and one of my female Scottish ancestors! I wear the Gunn tartan to honour my paternal grandmother who was Robinson before she married and whose mother was a White(MacGregor).

Fit like en Bruce. I used to work in the cemeteries of Scotland, mainly NE along with my father. I remember him telling me about the last Jacobite and how some folks weren't too happy with his burial place. So what they did was, they removed him from this original grave, placed the body on a wee boat that waited in the nearby river and promptly got the body back to where these folks decided was his proper place for burial. I believe this event took place at least twice due to the other folks taking the body back to it's first place of internment. I wish I knew more detail as I'm being a bit vague here but I always remembered the story of the last Jacobite.
