And that they should instead work towards being able to take care of themselves and their own. He strove to drive on his fellows that they could be self reliant and they should seek to detach themselves not just from the exploitative but the paternalistic approach from people outside of the region. And most Burkinese believe France was a financial and material backer of his assassination. And the laws he had passed and further ones he intended to pass that hurt non regional interests around the time of his assassination getting reversed by his predecessor support that belief.
