@TebowTime25133 жыл бұрын
When he was drafted you could immediately see his potential. Strong arm but deep ball accuracy was his main weakness. Many coaching and offensive coordinator changes, weak pass protection, and sub par wrs kept him from reaching his potential earlier. Took a ridiculous amount of sacks and was an IRON man his first 5 years. He finally started to hit deep balls with 🎯 accuracy! Then the injuries started smfh. Dude is a baller I'm happy for his success!

U forget to mention tannehill rised on and off the feild with shootouts with Payton manning Russel wilson, Andrew Luck Aaron rodgers Andy dalton Tom brady and as well had beaten teams in his second and 3rd year deemed unbeatable by the dolphins while going back to back 4k yard seasons and rising in touchdowns as well bringing them to records year 2 was 7-9, 3 was 8-8, 4 was 8-8 as well but out defence lost us a playoff birth by letting comebacks or the ball to be ran everywhere including the endzone and had a line that was the worst in football after 3 or 4 games into the season allowing more sacks and pressure then some lines allowed combined. Asides from not invluding that which you should have really highlighted the tannehill and peyton bowl, for dolphins and broncoa fans that game was ecstatic and electric

Teams always fall for those college QBs who run all over the place and heave the ball to wide-open super-athlete receivers. Highlight reels are not the same as running an efficient offense that moves the ball consistently, controls the clock and doesn’t turn the ball over. Even in 2021, coaches and front offices are not analytical enough, and often fail to pay enough mind to IQ and work ethic when it comes to picking theirs QBs. Often they judge QBs far too much based on stats that largely reflect the production of the players around them. The NFL is a different animal than college. The talent gap is much less spread. Defenses are fast, organized and complex. They put pressure on the QB mentally, to make smart decisions, read the field, execute a plan, and execute a backup plan when necessary. “Improvisation” is the favorite word of ESPN “scouts,” but for a QB, improvisation should be avoided. Winning QBs plan for everything, and execute the right plan, at the right time. As much as arm strength and mobility are important, intelligence, quick thinking, and work ethic are more important. These are taboo words when it comes to scouting but this is the truth. Intelligence is important in sports, like all games, and particularly for NFL QBs. Case in point-Tannehill, Brady, Brees, Rogers, Manning, Wilson, Allen. All exceptionally intelligent, all get drafted behind more athletic guys who didn’t have the brain power and failed. QBs like Tannehill will win championships when given a roster that has the type of talent that the Mariotas and Prescotts of the world squander. He elevated a roster with zero talent from the bottom to playoff competition, and a roster with some talent to playoff competition. Give him what Lamar Jackson or Pat Mahomes or Brady has and he wins a super bowl.

Luck was smart for stepping away from the League because of he’s health . One thing I’ve learned bout the NFL is that they don’t care bout ur health an well being they will sow u back up an put u right back in the field, u can get injured again , soon as u get u hurt they gone put u in a surgery right away n only give u a few weeks then expect u right back on the field to play so being only 29 years old with all those injuries man smh it’s gone physically effect him in the long run we all got a life outside the game of football man we have wives an kids that want us around so if u ask me I’ll rather put me an my family an my health before anything if u ask me so it was real smart Move of Luck to retire. Look at the positive side of it all he’s young, he can come back when ever he wants he gots till the age of 36 anything past that it’s over with so he got a few years but I doubt he gone be back. Internal injuries ain’t no joke kidney injuries an etc is nothing to take lightly.
