Every QB, especially in the NFL, is a “system” QB. It’s the player’s own physical skills, work ethic, heart, and mental/cerebral skills that separate an average “system QB” from an elite QB! Wth were both Joe Montana and Steve Young? They were great system QB’s from the greatest offensive football mind ever and his system - Bill Walsh! We had other QB’s fill in/play while those two were injured, others drafted… and they all sucked! It was both Joe and Steve that made the system - the west coast offense elite! And just like those two, Brock Purdy is exactly like those two - straight winner and a baller. Most NFL fans and most sports talk talking heads, to even include ex-NFL players are ignorant. It’s amazing how ex-NFL players are just so ignorant and/or just haters. They don’t know the game that they played… but I’m not surprised because most were never book smart or remotely intelligent to begin with. They don’t understand all of the variables involved when it comes to leading a high functioning, successful offense. Brock Purdy most definitely is that guy… he’s literally our next Joe Montana. Yes, the comparisons are blatantly clear! People - the majority of ignorant football fans, won’t accept someone like Purdy because the narrative is created by the ignorant media.

And why don’t we know of him?!” Saban came all the way to Arizona to make an in home visit a couple weeks before the second February signing day. If he thought Purdy was just a game manager, he would have never taken the time to fly to Arizona. Purdy is the best high school QB in Arizona history. He was Arizona Mr Football. He got coaching from Troy Aikman’s QB guru while in high school. He’s been working to be an NFL QB his entire life. He’s built for this sh*t. He chose Iowa State because they should him the most genuine love on his visit. Before Brock Purdy and Breece Hall, name another Iowa State player. Seneca Wallace is the only one I can think of. Eisen is an NFL employee, he seems to have changed to a more negative tone on Purdy. Inside the NFL, al of them talked nonsense insulting how well he’s played. I think Eisen was told by NFL to stop praising Purdy so much. Goodell doesn’t like his religious beliefs. Won’t surprise me if refs are told to call game a certain way to give Chiefs a big advantage. KC is not this strong in rushing so niners could get revenge. i dont see chances for my teams or for philly, so i hope its kc / niners with a blowout win for san francisco. i hope they go low on cmc the last games because he still sometimes runs and i think omg next tackle like this breaks him in a half. but he looks in best shape so far, niners should keep it this way until playoffs cause as powerfull he is, as fragile he is with all those injuries before. but purdy for sure is THE sensation of this loaded draft. i saw maybe 3 major mistakes during the whole season. rest was fkn sweet. if he pushes his throwing arm a little...sky's the limit.

You get 4 downs to go 10 yrd. Shanahan gives him plays to make consistant 1st downs. Not the biggest arm but very accurate.

I DON'T KNOW WHO THE 8 QBS BEFORE BROCK PURDY WAS ! BUT HE'S BETTER THAN ALL 8 OF THEM ! SOMEBODY REALLY DROPPED THE BALL , WHEN THEY EVALUATED HIM FOR THE DRAFT ! YEAH HE CAME FROM A SMALLER SCHOOL , BUT THEY MUST BE VERY GOOD , AND HAVE VERY GOOD COACHING !

If this was a Disney story Brock would be a "strong" woman, fighting the patriarchy as a QB! 🤣

If you remember your history, both Joe Montana & Jerry Rice were not 1st round draft choices, & look at their Carter's

Another QB was drafted last in 2000 and did ok in NFL. You might recognize the name Tom Brady. One NEVER knows.

Howell looks pretty good, all things considered. And don't give up on Ridder, his coach is allergic to offense.

The scouts know nothing, and screwed up with purdy like with Brady

Sam Howell has some growing pains, but damn, he looks like he might be the guy too.

Obviously this class of QB’s (other than Purdy of course) could be characterized somewhere between pedestrian and yuck.

How did all the experts miss the guy in the draft?
