The entire West Coast is full of haunted hotels and bars! I didn’t realize until I started looking into that stuff. Santa Cruz and the hilly woods on Hwy 17 that lead to it (look up the Madonna Inn!) are purported to be really haunted. There are lots of UFO sightings in that area, too.

The concept of “Eat The Rich” was used during Soviet Russia. For one reason: to procure the property and rights to own all farms from former “serfs” (slaves) who made a fortune for themselves and their families. “Eat the Rich” concept was propagated on them. It’s just an ideology to further political agenda. It’s been used before to take advantage of peoples empathy & ignorance. At that point, the Soviets owned and controlled the entire food supply and called these farms they stole “collective farms”. Many many people died of starvation in and around Russia because of this. To the point that farmers would be executed if they picked up or saved even an extra seed from their farm. So they were forced to starve or be shot. No real choice there. Sounds nice tho to eat the rich, yeah I get the appeal…

So happy Saint is still with you. 🐕 The "last" Vanderbilt is Anderson Cooper. He still has rooms at Biltmore House in Ashville NC. Newport, Rhode Island was the "summer cottage" center for those like the Vanderbilts. The mansions were used around 6 weeks in the summer to get away from the oppressive New York city air. You can tour some of them. Amazing how the other 40 families lived.

Y'all parents bought or helped buy your cars when you were teens? As a joke for my 16th birthday, my parents bought me a toy car and said, "this is all we could afford." Covid had me literally crying because my body felt like it was shattering. I was also 32 weeks pregnant and all 3 of my other kids also had it. And I was home alone with them the day my symptoms were the worst. And my 3 year old has a trach and I had to get up to suction her constantly. It was awful. I def thought I was dying too. Thankfully my lungs weren’t hit nearly as bad as I expected. Now rhinovirus hits my lungs bad but doesn’t make me ache and feel like I’m dying how Covid did. And my nasals sinuses have never been the same

Funny that you mention wanting a tax breakdown every year. In some other countries, they do that! In Norway for example, you get a breakdown. You also pay your fair share and get healthcare and education in return. In the US, we just get endless wars and more income inequality. No healthcare or education either. I'm guessing that's why we don't get breakdowns of where our tax dollars go. If you actually saw it spelled out on paper, you'd RIOT.
