Truly smart faces and smart style to learn chinese!!! Thank you foruploading this video. This complimentary message is from Hunza, GB, Pakistan --- a closer area to China. We love chinese too much, frankly speaking. This guy is chinese or having any other nationality, I am not sure. However once again thank you to inspire me. I had started to learn chinese, a couple of months back but didn't find time and unable to continue it. Yet your style of teaching chinese is truly inspiring thus against started to learn it.

Hi Guys.. Thanks for the excellent videos. I want to highlight something.. I do not know why most of videos about learning chinese they are pawned in speaking fast as if speaking fast is a synonym of high level.. when people speak fast a language and overall Chinese sacrifice in some sense clarity and elegance to its interlocutor. If you can, try to speak a little bit more slow but with more elegance the dialogue and I'm pretty sure people can realize better your pronunciation. Thanks Joel Pérez

@ChinaMaike
@ChinaMaike 8 жыл бұрын
+Learn Chinese Now The use of masheng to mean immediately has a direct correlation to the North American phrases "Get on your horse" & "Hold your horses" to mean hurry up & slow down. A nice example of parallel evolution of language development. It also nicely demonstrates how as humans we culturally all think in very similar ways [These terms in Chinese and English developed centuries apart and completely independent of one another.]

Is it really seen as modest to reply with 哪里哪里 when someone says your Chinese is good? In China it's very common for people to say your Chinese is amazing, even if you have only said 你好. So sometimes I'm not sure if it's always appropriate to follow up with 哪里. I think in English I'd only say, 'no, no, no'. Then change the subject. Rather than saying, "It's not that good". Not sure which one 哪里 would be compared to.
