The first time I remember hearing this song was in a morning service where a deacon in the church I served sang it as a special, just before the sermon. In the congregation that morning was a man that was literally living through the first verse, unbeknownst to the deacon singing the song. That man rushed to the altar that morning, hurt & broken, but God moved that day! He was followed by two of his uncles that prayed there with him. Godly men. Praise His Holy Name!

The first time I heard this song, it had me in tears. I know that I've been guilty of judging others. I regularly ask the SPIRIT to keep me in check, HE's faithful. HE lets me know when what I'm thinking is wrong. HE helps me to avoid the terrible din of pride & judgement. THANK YOU LORD!!!

Praise God! You had someone like that for you! What you testify to magnifies our Lord & the truth that He still has a people He lives in! (Matt 16:18)

Praise the Lord! Jesus saves (makes whole) every day, giving The Holy Spirit to all who ask The Father in Jesus' name! The Spirit communicates the deep things of God to those who trust in Him.

One of the most powerful songs you wrote, Bruce (from Iowa City Bible Fellowship). Jesus is the only true hope right now in a dark world that is looking for answers. A lot of hurting people we rub shoulders with every day that we can love and be Jesus to.

My favorite song ever. I first heard it in a class about how to run an inner city mission. Lots of hurting people there.
