Good overview of runners and riders. Like Cooper but concerned they'll try and do it on the cheap and go for someone like Bloomfield without the track record we need.. They sat on their hands far too long to bid farewell to Edwards which has made the new guy's job that much more tricky.

Great video Lewis - Liam Rosenior ticks all the boxes for me. I have always thought that Steve Cooper was a bit uncooth and does not fit the Luton image. Liam is almost as handsome as RE too!

I personally want a young up and coming manager. Look what Nathan Jones did for us. Personally, I would go for Matt Bloomfield and then Schumacher. Cooper is a decent shout. I like the way he manages. If we are going completely left field, i would love Urs Fishcher. If you've never heard of him. He took Union Berlin from the second tier to Uefa Conference, Europa League and Champions League in 4 season. We need someone to drop the players who are not playing well, but keep the dressing room happy. Our togetherness as a club through board, management, staff, players and fans has got us where we are now. We need that back and it starts with a manager who can do that.

Sean Daish is made for Luton someone should make a huge effort to sell the club to him, new stadium, near London, parachute money, half decent squad, all he has to do is keep them up this season, Luton could be a fantastic project for a manager like him, he knows Luton arent a sacking club, he would be given time and hopefully a few quid.

Dyce won’t be interested. Would love Cooper but doubt he’d have come. If he drops down to the Championship, he’d want a bigger club than Luton with a shot at the playoffs - this season. Rather than a messy relegation battle with a relatively poor team.

Gary O'Neil all day very intelligent manager who at last minute lost his star player at wolves & no time to buy a replacement although i think wolves didnt give the chelsea cash to O'Neil to spend. Steve Cooper but i doubt he would come to us. Just hope the town dont go cheap with Harris or some other ham & egger⚽️

Some good suggestions. I think we need experience and someone who can take on the relegation battle but lets face it, a few wins and we're out of trouble - but its getting those wins. Here's a curve ball - what about Paul Hart? He could probably steady the ship for the season while the club focus on finding a manager for the following season to take us forward. I just feel the pool of available managers who WOULD consider Luton to be small and outside of 1 or 2, little to no track record of coping with a relegation battle. Bloomfield would be a good choice for the future but not for now. Or I would love to see a Bloomfield/Hart combo. If I had to choose one, probably Cooper.

Steve Cooper would be my choice !! However a) would he want to come to us, and b) could we even afford him ? Again, however, having been sacked from his last two jobs in the PL, I think it's unlikely his next job will be in the PL, yes, absolutely, he could get a job with a 'top' half champ club, but then is a club in the top half of the champ going to sack their manager, and is a manager of a top half champ club going to take a job with a team near the bottom of the PL ? I believe he 'has' been interviewed by us, and don't forget, we will have more parachute money to come next season !! It just 'might' appeal to him !!
