This song must one of the most beautiful songs i have heard. Hearing the original sung by the author herself, brought at the same time tears of sadness and joy to my eyes. What a song, and what wisdom there lies in the it´s words. The crowd singing harmonies at the background tells a story of it´s own too.

This is very probably the most beautiful thing I have ever heard .I have loved this song for years, but it is the first time I have heard Kate Long sing, and Wow, is she a great singer. I'm devastated. Tears.

Had a chance to talk to Laurie Lewis about this song a few years back, and I was saying that I thought this may be the best song ever written.I compared it to John Prine’s Paradise, and Laurie was near speechless. It is a most extraordinary song in every respect.

This song, I heard in concert at Augusta 2017. It touched my heart as i long for my grandparent's dairy farm where my mother grew up, in Western NY. Now the barn is burned and the house is falling apart.

Somewhere along my journeys I heard this tune, possibly when I was at Augusta's Old Time week about 30 plus years ago. I always stop and listen when I see it.
