As a Palace fan I’d like to see Sunderland go up. Their support is among the best in the country - home and away. Even in League 1 their crowds held up remarkably!

I love an outsider- come on Sunderland- do your transfer business well- keep hold of all main starting players and get some of those back from injury! I have a sneaky feeling they’re gonna improve with Rigg and Mundle and maybe Browne back in the squad and also I’m told Abdul samed is a beast in midfield and should be coming into the squad by the end of Jan

I disagree on the lack of depth btw, we are just decimated by injury. 11 first team players are out (some not shown on FOTMOB. Mundle, Ballard, Rigg, Browne, Samed, Abdullahi and Watson are all back in the next few weeks, that is massive. Add to that the transfer window and we should be in a decent place. The fact we are 2 points off the 2 above us and 3 off top with all those injuries, we have done brilliant to stay in touch. Good video, mate.

Before injuries hit, Sunderland were five clear and romping away. A lot of these players will be back in the next couple of weeks. Be afraid...be very afraid!

Sunderland have 8 first team players out injured, they will be back for the run in, they have stayed in contention and soon they will have played the top 3 twice and march they can really pick points up

I think Sunderland’s season will depend on when and how the injured players return, I do think at our best we are as good as anyone in the league but you’re certainly right we don’t have the squad depth the sides with parachute payments have. Looking at the Shef Utd game and we could only make 1 change and that was to bring a CB on on the left wing… Hopefully the FA cup game will give our players a much needed rest and when the injured players return we have a good finish to season, just pleased our injury crisis hasn’t left us adrift Also agree it will be very close at the end of the season whichever way it goes.

My team sunderland are missing a few players and are close to returning, so if we are 3pts away these players out of action wheb they are back we will be fighting for top 2 spots come the end

You mention lack of experience at Safc, had point but a bit of a myth, Dan Neil for example an academy product well over 150 games now as been forced to play as a result of significant injuries. There are many more examples. Good assessment but we won’t let more than one top asset go, again a myth we sell all time we don’t it’s one per season and this will be reinvested

Sunderland do not have a lack of depth. Been struck with so many injury issues but by the end of January we’ll have the likes of Browne, Mundle, Watson, Poveda, Rigg and Samed is yet to come in. Enzo Le Fee to come in. More than enough to get top 2

Out of the 4 clubs Leeds and Sheffield United has the best chance of going up, but Burnley for their defence and Sunderland for their counter attacking has more chance of staying up.

I’m a Burnley fan and agree we need a striker, Tom Cannon, Ferguson from Brighton. I really hope we can sign Humphreys he’s showing his class. I wouldn’t write Sheff UTD off, they’ve done so much with so little, their starting 11 are very strong id love Hamer and O’Hare at Burnley, if they can strengthen in January I’d tip them for a top two finish.

I'm a Sunderland fan and Leeds are far and away the best team I was thinking is it Meslier or Daniel F that are holding Leeds back they have Carl Darlow seems more reliable, But that's just a view from a distance could be 4 more points ahead. but Sunderland went through a drawing period and lost their lead when the injuries came, Can one new quality player make a difference ? a 5.7 inch frenchman ???? Well getting Mundle and Watson Ballard back .. But recent games the big plus is captain Dan Neil has stepped up his game and is pushing Sunderland up.. when the injured come back.. They can power up on 60 minutes with quality of substitutes

From what I have seen this season you could literally pull the 4 teams out of the hat for final placing it’s that tight at the top. I do however think like most seasons at least one side falls away and I predict that side to be Sheff U. Also there is nearly always a side that comes from nowhere or thereabouts and from what I’ve seen so far I think that side could well be Middlesbrough.

Your incorrect our players out injured mundle,browne watson are coming back, you forgot to mention Dan Ballard, Patrick roberts ian paveda aaron connolly 4 players you forgot who are experienced championship players plus hume,cirkin, neil have all been in the championship for 3 seasons now so we know what this peague is about, we got the players in our first season so we can do it again, we signed new contracts to cirkinzjobe,rigg so they are tied down, we have an on loan semmed from lens who was playing in the champions league last season plus we are signing enzo le fee on loan from rona with an hour obligation to buy if we go up, le fee was with le bris at lorient so le bris knows wuat le fee will bring to the club

Title race should be unreal this year. Leeds have the easiest problem to sort by getting a new keeper but are probably the least likely to make a move. I personally think Leeds will win it by 5/6 points but we’ll see
