Hi gents, Typical MPG in my Golf mk7 DSG GTD is 57.7 on a 320mile round trip same day (hit that score several times). That's 1/2 way around the UK's biggest car park (M25, 104 miles in total on the day), approx 60miles on the M3, 60 miles on the M11 and approx 96 miles on Dual Carriageway. So when the roads do open up the GTD gets a bit of a stomp on the go pedal to make up for M25 slow traffic - so I think 57+ MPG is good ;-) BTW, I've got the tartan grey seats and totally with Phil on the new MK7.5 GTD optional seats, tartan is way better and part of the cars DNA being GT....

55.2 MPG imperial is 5.11 liters per 100 km! Very good!

I have a Mercedes A220 diesel 200bhp (after remap up from 180), 7 speed DSG, and I still get 55mpg just driving normally, even absolutely hammering it still gets like 25-30, really good!!

I´ve got a 2017 mk 3.5 Seat Leon 2.0 tdi 184 dsg. Personal record are 67,8 mpg over a 70 mile trip. Over a entire tank it will do 60 mpg messured at the pump. I do have a remap, and it does a lot. 240hp 380 ibft.

Stable Lease - Comfort mode driving normally really 70ish, the 50mph zones help. S3 is reasonably good on juice to be fair considering the power it has, unless you drive in Dynamic with the gearbox in sport. 😫

I only get 55 mpg on my daily 100 mile drive. That's from a 2018 golf gt 1.6 tdi.

Can any one help me ? Iv just bought a 65 reg gtd dsg from vw and I’m getting 30-35mpg round doors and never went over 45mpg on motorways and vw says this is normal when I returned it complaining ! My 10 year old gttdi was far better and never got serviced are vw just fobbing me off ?

Something definitely not right...I've had mk 5/6/7 gt's and currently gtd 7.5...and have all done over 60mpg...and that's not driving like a girl 😂😂 ( the gtd is worse on mpg but obviously more power so I expected that)

Gtd getting 50mpg?!? Dats goood Bluemotion 1.6 hardly gets 50mpg

That's because the 1.6 bluemotion is about 90-105hp and 230-250nm depending on the country so you have to step on it for almost anything you want to do in the road unlike the GTD with a 185hp and 380nm with just a tap on throttle and you're doing 60mph

dlite1972 mmmh that's a tough one. Both great cars. But the 120d is some engine and has legendary MPG.
