Los Angeles has to have a big chance because he has the best form & Shin Emperor also has a big chance but will Shin Emperor be ok with the ground ?? I got an e/w bet on a tip l got " Mose De Sevigne " at 40/1 who's now 20/1 & will be shorter on the day i suspect. Oh stop witb the Bluestocking because its no chance.

George Baker, dear oh dear. What horses was he expecting to see in the line up, bearing in mind geldings were never going to run, and City Of Troy was never a likely runner? Then he puts up Al Riffa. City Of Troy was laboured at Sandown, but still won. Ghostwriter didn't want that ground, and was much better at York. Al Riffa then beat a Group 3 horse in Germany. Los Angeles is consistent, but we've seen more than enough of him to know that he's a long way short of brilliant. He never looked likely in the Irish Champion, and they have finished on top of each other. Maybe just getting the job could be good enough in a poor year, but I would rather look away from the head of the market. Delius might do better with a more positive ride, but it could be that he will make a better 4yo. The Vermeille looked the strongest trial, and the 1-2 seem overpriced at 14/1 and 20/1. Not sure why Aventure has drifted. She raced a little freely, but for most of the Vermeille she looked the winner. If Pasquier can just conserve that finish a little longer she could be the owner's fourth winning filly.
