The Bears absolutely won this round. And probably the draft. CW is an absolute stud. I could write an essay on how good he is. And for them to be able to draft Odunze at 9 is unreal. I think it's just getting overlooked atm because so many mock drafts had those two going to Chicago. Everyone knew CW was going #1 and had a feeling Rome would fall to 9. But the amount of talent in those two is insane. Time can only show how good this draft is for the Bears. A lot of experts love it. Brett Kollman absolutely loves it.

When will people learn about crowning rookie QBs, no matter how good their college careers were? The fact is the QB position from college to pro is almost an entirely different game. Which is the main reason so many “can’t miss” QB prospects fail in the NFL. So to talk like a rookie QB is a sure thing, let alone label the never played together before pairing with his rookie WR teammate “scary,” is short bus level stupid. Because again, the chances that QB will someday be good enough for that type of label is already very low, & the chances the WR will do the same almost certainly has a single digit percentage chance of ever truly happening. But since these TV/Internet analysts never seem to have to answer for making such ridiculous predictions by losing actual credibility, and that credibility apparently has no bearing on their employment, they have absolutely zero hesitation continuing to do so.
