On a purely technical/sklll level Whitney is more skillful than Celine. Celine would outdo Mariah maybe. Whitney is the best techncial belter out of the 3, thats just a fact. She's the most versatile belter out of all of them upto atleast F5, after that maybe Celine takes it but to be fair Whitneys voice can only really work ipto G5 as her voice is naturally a lot lower. Also, Shirley Bassey, Linda Fischer, Patti Labelle etc are all more skillful than Celine. (Not taking ANYTHING away from Celine, she's one of the greatest even technically but not THE strongest)

It is preference for sure, but I feel like we could make an objective argument as to who has the best voice. Whitney is my preference but Celine and Mariah for me are stronger. Cleaner. More control. Longer notes. But Whitney just has a tone of voice which is the best for me.

For me.. the power .. strong voice .long note. IS Houston But for me Céline IS very very strong in her chest for C5. c#5. D5. Middle note... More clear and piercing than Houston may be.... And your conclusion based on few random clips? Celine’s C#5 is quite nasal and strained. Whitney’s audio on that C5 is more compressed and she was singing in an open place without much reverb. Celine’s has a studio / room quality. On that D5, Whitney’s whole performance was kinda off coz she was sick. Celine’s D5 was probably her best D5 during that period of time because she had several nasal and strained D5’s trying to sing The Power Of Love.

From a technical stanpoint the best vocalist in their prime was mariah, nobody could rlly touch her in her prime tho. Its such a close battle that most of the time is just comes down to preference however, them all three of them❤ -Side note cuz a lot of yall seem to misinterpret mariahs prime, her prime was from 1994-1996 some might include 1993, however it wasnt anything before or after these years.
