People seemed to have forgotten the Bayern Liverpool game from 2 years ago. Bayern have 80% the same players and that game showed Liverpool were fundamentally too powerful and fast for Bayern players. No coach in the world can close that physical gap. If Liverpool play well there is no chance Bayern can beat them because they win too many one on one battles in the match ups that Liverpool Are better. I think it is more 70- 30 chance in Liverpool’s favour.

The Bundesliga is obviously not giving that much challenge to Bayern (Wolfsburg, Dortmund, and Leipzig are all out of the Champions League) whilst Liverpool have much sterner opposition in the EPL (all 4 English teams are through to the last 16) so whilst both are doing well at home and in Europe - it is harder to gauge Bayerns level. Im still going for them to win the whole thing. But it could be any of 3-4 teams that win this year. Luck may come into it by the end of the season.

I'd say Liverpool for so many reasons, first of all the anfield crowd, this club, even though I'm not a fan but they seem to be the club that has the most family atmosphere from the chants tp the crowd to the players, they seem like a family, not just a bunch of players and fans watching in the stands and that can make a HUGE difference sometimes. Liverpool knowing that they have less chance to win the league than the ucl this alone is a mentality that they probably have, that's why you can find good amount of years where they played better or even won the champions league even tho in the league they didn't win or even come second or third, they are pretty much a cup side, they love that they don't have to chase points through a league, they just have to perform in a home and away tie to go through, look at their recent successes, 3 trophies out of 4 were cup competitions. Liverpool pretty much prioritize the premier league and the champions league over any other competitions like FA CUP and League cup. they aren't as motivated to play those competitions and if you look back, through the last years they have a very bad record in winning them in the past decade or so or even reaching final stages they are pretty much a side motivated by BIG tournaments and titles bayern has the local competitions to fall back on like the bundisliga and the german cup and german super cup to save their season Liverpool probably don't and that what makes the player more motivated to play in the champions league and want it more than all the other big teams who can still go back to their leagues and win the league over there.

Steve is right Kimmich is bayerns most creative and important player, without him Bayern lack cutting edge and it has been seen in their recent matches, and yes he deserves a lot of credit because when he doesn’t play then you see how important he is. Truly one of the best if not the best midfielder itw. There’s a reason poch asked Neymar and Mbappe to mark him for the first leg. For the Liverpool vs Bayern it depends if Bayern have their full midfield with Kimmich because right now they playing with backup midfield but fully fit Bayern have the ability to beat any team. Hansi Flick had the ability to over power any team tactically making Bayern the most unstoppable force in world football...
