I've never smelled the original male/female APOMs. The week the newly released APOM came out, I walked into Neimans, sprayed it, walked around the mall, came back and bought one bottle plus a backup. Love it it's a scent I wear when I dont want to really wear anything, but I still wanna smell nice (which is almost every day)

Hopefully you can do a side by side comparison when the new apls comes in. You're a guy that I can trust and if it's close to the original I'll buy it. I'm a huge fan but always hesitant when a fragrance is re launched and isn't close to the original

I just bought a 200ml of APOM. I freaking love it! I’ve worn quite a bit lol. To me it’s musky clean laundry scent. Absolutely beautiful.

I’m not familiar with the earlier version of either one of these, but I’m very interested to hear your review of the 2024 APLS! I also find it interesting about how MFK, now owned by LVMH, are rolling out “re-releases” of prior fragrances, which may or may not resemble the original versions. I have been cautious with MFK purchases. I love their Oud, and I like Baccarat 540, but I made a blind buy of Oud Silk Mood and just dislike it thoroughly. What I would do is go to Neiman Marcus here in Beverly Hills and get my nose on these to be sure. But, it is good to know they bring back discontinued scents from time to time. (And, I am so rarely blown away by anything these days or reacting by feeling something is gorgeous or beautiful. I had that reaction to Bal a Versailles back in the day, and Jicky, and honestly, the most recent perfume that made me react that way is Fifty Four, truly, that was my first reaction: beautiful!) Thank you. 🎃

I found out about this scent from you during the pandemic. I was able to get some and I loved the musky, animalic nature of APLS over Grand Soir. Thank you for reporting on this one. Never Tried APLS or APOM, I always wanted APLS but it was discontinued before I can pull the trigger, the same happened with Ciel De Gum but I have samples from MFK of Ciel De Gum, I love it is my favorite from MFK, I wish they bring back the OG. I will definitely buy a bottle of APLS but I want to her from you first if it worth it. I don't know about APLM, I will try it first. Thank you Sebastian!!!

I never smelt a MFK fragrance I really liked (I had hopes for Grand Soir but not really my cup of tea ultimately). But Absolue Pour le Soir seems like I could like it, let's see !
