Well it's not just the 2 parties. Its any party. They kinda run in this gray area in the laws. For example you cannot run for president unless you win a party nomination. That's not in the constitution. It's in the state laws. But the supreme court just ruled, the states cannot do that. They cannot create laws that apply to a federal election. Which is why Trump could not be removed from the ballot. (gray area bull,) But if the party wanted to remove him from the ballot. There's nothing Trump could do about it. They can pick and choose when the law applies to them.

I agree with much of what the libertarian party stands for, until it comes to taxes. Who’s gonna plow the streets when it snows, and spreads salt when it’s icy? Who’s gonna fix the potholes when they get so bad they are destroying the suspension on my vehicle. Who’s gonna repair the bridges when they crash onto the roads below, or into the rivers I drive across regularly. I’ve been dodging traffic cones for the past three years while roads were repaired, water mains replaced, storm sewers replaced, and a new 5 lane bridge is being built over the Mississippi in north St. Louis county!! Now, I have issues with the water and sewer lines being paid for with tax dollars for for profit stock holder companies. But they are being fixed which does benefit me. Now we need congresspeople that will serve me before and over for profit company stock holders!!

We're all weary of it, but don't let your weariness lead you to disengage.
