I love a bit of Twin Peaks. There’s a fun card-based RPG called Tall Pines which does a good job with capturing the vibe of it. Any game with a ‘symbolism deck’ has got to be on the right track.

My mileage doesn't vary; Tokaido is a game bereft or everything - decisions, tension, interaction. About the only positive it had was the artwork - which no doubt Stonemeier will change.

I do plan to get a 2nd play of Resurgence in. We played the original KS version, which a friend of mine backed. I agree the art / theme interesting (even if we have to suspend our emotions about modern day Russia). I felt somewhat undecided about the gameplay, partly because it felt a little obtuse in terms of what would be effective to do. Not unusual for a 1st play of any game, but that feeling felt stronger with this one. How was Roborally? You mentioned you'd played it, but didn't then come back to say how it was.

Played quite a chunk of Robo Rally over successive weeks, I'm still terrible at it but as a bit of silly fun it's all good
