I wonder if Naphtali's rescuer received recognition as a Righteous Among the Nations? It's a complex thing for his rescuer to not want to surrender him after the war. They were bonded together in some way.

I want to take back what I said. I'm not so sure he ever did thank the (Non-Jew) When Naphtali Made the comment "He didn't think Non-Jew never really loved him. The Non-Jew loved Naphtli and that's why he didn't was to give him up. It hurt him deeply but knew he needed to be with his family. Bottom Line! I think he would have mentioned it in his story

As her father Alex de haas was my mother’s first cousin. Her grandmother minna Marx de haas was my grandmother’s Dora Marx friedmann sister . My mother marga friedman Weis was an identical twin
