Great job, but if I may make an observation; you only called one boy to stand and give his answer. I loved that he used the word "build" to describe his three points, because it shows how men are wired differently than women, only I think this is why the teacher showed more bias towards the girls in the class. I have three sons who I am raising to be strong, smart, and responsible young men; and I sometimes get concerned that teachers, who are predominantly female, neglect to allow young boys to be boys in their expression, and to flourish naturally the way God created them to. I hope to see more boys get called upon next time, because I think it would a encouragement to the other boys in the class, and it would inspire them to be natural in who they are in a predominantly female environment. Thanks!

I was picking sticks with students names on them to demonstrate that ALL students in the class are able to do this skill (not just the "stars". ) It could just as easily been all boys. We use the sticks daily for the same activity so each student gets a turn every week. I am very sensitive to this issue as I only have boys too. If you select students randomly, this is what happens. I share your concern for bias between boys and girls.
