Tuning is DADF#AD with a capo on the 3rd fret (covering the bottom 5 strings - so leave the high D string open!)
There is an easier version of the song chords in standard tuning which can work but this is how I play it on the studio version/live! Here're the chords:

I love this Jess! So lovely of you to share this. I used to write songs years ago and occasionally played them out (places where your dad would play like in the Loggers, 7 stars). Life took over and I’m still working on getting back to it. One day many years later someone I hadn’t seen for a while came up to me singing my song and I was astounded! Someone singing my song. I really hope you get to hear the magic of someone else singing your song, I say there’s nothing like it! 🙂
