Mushroom Pizza Recipe:
1 lb Mild Italian ground sausage
1/2 yellow onion chopped
6 large portobello mushrooms
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 parmesan cheese
1 14 oz can tomato sauce (or pasta sauce)
oregano
Basil
Tyme
Parsley (optional)
Preheat over to 350 degrees. Heat olive oil in large skillet. add onions until softened for about 5-6 minutes. Cut mushroom stems and add to skillet. Add ground sausage, garlic and seasoning and heat about 8 minutes. Add tomato sauce until heated through. Place mushroom caps on baking sheet and add sausage mixture topped with cheese. Place in oven for 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted.
