We had a few 70 degree days but it was just a tease as it’s back to snowing again and 30’s. We can’t do much cleaning outside until all the spring pollen falls because it makes a huge mess around here. Your place looks great!

What a beautiful home! Love your porches! I have similar bricks on a back patio and sidewalk. The weeds between the bricks were crazy. Turns out from time to time you have to add more of the special sand between the bricks. It’s ultra fine and it compacts in the cracks and makes a mortar of sorts which gives the weeds a hard time to root. Just pour on the cracks then sweep in both directions to get full fill. A couple of bricks I had to pry up and fill underneath as they had started sagging. It is well worth it to add the sand. I do this annually now. ❤

Everything looks great. Sweet little Levi watching out the door to see mommy and daddy. We also have the sand. The rugs are really holding up well and loved the spring wash. Look like new again. We thought Texas was thru with winter but we are having another cold snap. A lot of hard work but everything looks wonderful. Be sure and coil your pressure washing hose like your water hose. They do not like a fold. Have a great weekend.

Thanks! Yes when we spray the outside of the house it’s for scorpions as well because we have seen maybe 2 in the house before and I actually got stung in the foot one time🙈ours are very small and usually not a concern but I still never want to see one again haha!

I bet they do. When we lived in Arizona we had to have pest control come out annually to spray. Those things would come in the house all the time. I remember one dropped from our ceiling and landed on my pillow in the middle of the night! Eew, I hate scorpions. 😂

Sweep them out of the house with a long handled broom😂….you should see the size of the tarantulas they have there too! Even with all the creepy critters, i still miss the desert and it’s smells.
