This healthy and delicious homemade whole wheat bread is packed with flavor and nutrients. Perfect for sandwiches and toasts. Pairs nicely with a cup of coffee and is great if you are on a diet. Customise this whole wheat bread with nuts and seeds available to you. There are no rules here! I hope you try it and love this recipe.
Dry Ingredients
2 cups (280g) all-purpose flour
3/4 cup (105g) whole wheat flour
1/3 cup (28g) old-fashioned rolled oats
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
1 tablespoon raisins
1 tablespoon chopped almonds
1 tablespoon chopped peanuts
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon salt
1 ¾ teaspoons instant dried yeast
extra oats and seeds for topping
(Note: Use nuts and seeds of choice)
Wet Ingredients
1 cup (240ml) whole milk
3 tablespoons (43g) butter
2 tablespoons honey
egg wash
