I made the leave-in yesterday and tested it on a section of hair. My hair wasn't freshly washed either. I was so impressed immediately after I put on. It reminds me of the effect Carefree Gold instant activator had on my hair when I used it a long time ago. Your leave in kept my hair moist to the next day and my pen curls were frozen in place. I love this! I'm about to forget everything else and just use this only.

I'm so happy you have this channel for people like me who are beginners to formulating hair products. I always used products from the store but now I have made my own leave in conditioner, curl cream, shampoo and conditioner, thanks to you I know how to formulate my own products. And I'm very proud of myself for that, it's definitely a learning experience of trials and errors but it's so totally worth it bc I now know what ingredients are in my products.

First of all, Thank You. I have made and used several of your formulas and given them as Christmas gifts to my daughters. This year I am gifting them your body wash, shampoo and conditioner. I tried the body wash and the conditioner today. (I’m waiting on another package of BTMS before I can make the shampoo) But I gotta tell you I really love the conditioner! I did feel like I had to rinse a bit longer, and my hair was pretty tangled after I towel dried. I was tempted to use a leave-in conditioner but did not so that I could really see how this conditioner performed. There were two things that I noticed with this conditioner. Firstly, my hair is long and very frizzy. I noticed while drying my hair (yes it was still frizzy), that the frizz volume was half what it normally is. I liked that! Secondly, after my hair was completely dried it felt very soft. More than I’ve ever had with other conditioners or even a leave-in. I used a peppermint hydrosol, and added peppermint and rosemary EO. My hair does not have a strong scent. In fact, I can barely smell the mint at all. Just clean smell. 😊 I love this stuff!! Again, thank you for this formula. It will certainly be my favorite to use and I know my girls are going to love it too.
@VenaDeW Жыл бұрын
I found you and I did it!!!! I even used your advice for making the hydrosol and used rosemary and hibiscus. Thank you soooo much.💕💛💕 We have fragrance allergies and cannot use majority of the products on the market. The fragrance free leave-in's I've tried did not provide the moisture I was used to with those that I used prior to learning of the allergy. This recipe is even better than those. I cannot thank you enough. May Yah bless you for sharing your wisdom.💛

I ❤ the outcome of the conditioner 🎉. Thank You so much for the leave-in recipe coz I have locs and I really wanted to make it. The last of my ingredients arrived the other day and I started and fnished it today. I substituted a few ingredients. I used glycerin, cetearyl alcohol and added macadamia nut oil & wheat germ oil with the coconut oil (7.5g oils still). I had to add a little splash of more water at the end. The initial part looked like weird porridge but I used a frother and it worked out. Just like store bought.❤😀

For whatever reason I just trust you. You just sound like you know what you're doing. I have a lot of thin hair and although it's the opposite of curly, we have similar issues with dryness and friz. I have found that ethnic products do great but I also found store bought is very heavy. The heaviness isn't good for straight hair. I'm going to try your recipe to see if it works with my hair type.

I was waiting for this video of leave in and rinse out hair conditioner this certainly will be used with your clarifying shampoo! Thank you for sharing! You are my learning channel of how too make cosmetics! I am also happy to buy ingredients from Naturally thinking. It is expensive to ship to the USA but it is worth because other cosmetic places on line do not have certain items, such as Olus Oil. I purchased that and made the hair grease and it turn out great! I really like it! I will make the shampoo and the rinse out conditioner.! I'm all for homemade shampoos and conditioners ,body butters, lotions, etc.! No more store bought conventional shampoos with too many chemicals that are no good. I learn how to make liquid citric acid by measuring 50 grams of the crystal form of citric acid with 50 grams of distilled water and store it in and making sure it all dissolved. Then pour in a amber bottle with a dropper and then you use easily of what a recipe needed for in grams.

Hi these are beautiful recipes. When I made the conditioner I 1. used Xantham gum instead and 2. used moringa ewax. 3. I did try to use this as a leave in and it left a white film in my hair. I understand areas where I went wrong using the conditioner as a leave in as I will try the leave in recipe next but my question is; it is possible that the Xantham gum instead of guar gum is really the problem? Also, if I followed your recipe exactly does the conditioner leave a film? Thanks so much for any information you can provide.

I'm curious: do you measure the temperature during the water bath? I tried this basing my measurements on your interactive page but when I poured the oil phase into the water phase they immediately hardened and I was forced to heat them to a much higher temperature than it looks like you do in the video. Do you measure the temperature to keep that from happening? Thanks!

It took me so much time n effort to make water phase smooth using a blender.. After adding glycerine and xanthum gum mixture. Should I use guar gum only or reduce the quantity of xanthum gum? I hope it doesn't affect the stability of end product.. Now that I hv added xanthum gum? Pls guide.

you 😁🙏 made this and it was lovely! I accidently left some in! 🙈 but where I had properly washed it out - it was brilliant! Just one thing - what emulsifier do you recommend if you are not using BTMS 25 or 50? I have a rapeseed allergy and I didn't realise that BTMS was derived from it - could not understand why - even when I switched to more natural haircare products my head was still itchy, red and sore!! Anyway found the culprit and my head feels wonderfully cool and it's not constantly dandruffy - but a lot of diy conditioners have BTMS as part of the recipe for conditioner 🥴 I have some substitute emulsifiers - but do I use the same amount? Thank you so much! 😁🙏
