The smaller booths don't really fit two people. Some of my neighbors had bigger booths so it made more sense to have others. I think maybe in the future it may be an option. Everyone there loved the levelers and it makes the process so much faster!

Hi Emii. Thanks for a great video. I will be attending the winter show as an incubator participant. I will be in the Home section. Maybe I will run into you. Are the traffic days for the winter show the same as the summer show (i.e., busy Days 1 and 2 and slower the remaining days)? Thanks for sharing your journey.

Hello! That’s awesome to hear! come by and say 👋! Yes, I anticipate the first two days will be the busiest in terms of people walking the floor. However, the days you get orders may vary tbh. I’ve sat through an empty last days and then wrote a huge order the last 5 minutes of the show. Only takes one! 🤗 can feel a little unexpected at times. Hope that helps!

Understood. I will definitely stop by. Also, are you taking orders using an app or paper? If an app or other platform, is it Bulletin, Faire or something else? Lastly, do retailers expect free shipping?Many thanks!

@@shaunacooper822 usually people either take it via Faire or via paper. I have a lot of people ask for invoices after the show so just make sure if you’re not using Faire you are either providing a carbon copy or emailing a digital copy preferably that night. I personally do a physical copy (they take the carbon copy with them) cause I like to have them go through my crm. They do not expect free shipping. I’ve seen people offer it as a show specifical over a certain $ tier if you want to try that. They do expect you to tack it on after the show so once you are ready to ship you can usually send an updated invoice to their email either for payment or once you charge the card on file. Hope that all makes sense!

Can you say how much you paid for your booth through the GCA?

It’s almost exactly half of what the normal 5x10 is priced at for the year except the table and chair are free. It should be around 2k + the bulletin fee with is an extra $500ish they’ve been adding on to promote their online marketplace (which is a dumb fee that they should just say is a price increase. I specifically mention this because they sometime don’t initially quote the bulletin fee and tack it in when you’re ready to sign contract 😫). So prob expect $2.5k for just booth give it take depending on year.

I was sad I wasn't able to give anything for the people that came by which usually is such a fun experience. It turns out I wasn't the only one that got stolen from too!
