The first time I tried this combo I couldn't even finish the run because I gained like 9000 levels at the end of wave 19 (without steal btw). Early game can be hard though

I honestly believed I wasn't going to be able to finish the run but thankfully it somehow pulled through. Didn't even realize the last attacks hit for that much until I watched it back.

Pick up range does work with fruit but it’s a tad iffy for some reason

Yeahh, the most broken combo after Wholesaler and Deadbeat. That combo is insane, i would say that is imposible to lose. You should try it if you want unlimited power hahaha

A tip make your pick up range and range map size to reduce lag

The hat gives random items and I usually don't take it because I prefer to be in control of what items I get.

Couldn't do it with this many trees/turrets it would crash the game. Could probably do it if I skipped those items.
